I think it would be interesting to eat a large egg like that. Would you eat an Emu or an Osterich Egg?

I would eat it in an omelet, I think. Some zoos used to do fundraiser breakfasts that way. I guess if it did not look like a funny color it would be okay.

I think i prefer to stick to chicken eggs. I love eggs but am not much on branching out on eating strange things. I find too much to eat eating the normal things that i do, lol.

Yes I would and I have eaten emu egg - I am Australian. They are the same as a chicken egg but just so much bigger. I don't make it a habit though it's more of a special treat while up north.

It's just too big for one person. I would eat it scrambled.

If I knew what it was, probably not. If it was given to me and I thought it was just a chicken egg I probably wouldn't think about it. I am interested, however, in knowing if different eggs have different flavors....do you know? Marsha

Sure! Why not? . I will try anything once. It may be gross, but then again it may be good. How could I possibly know if I don't try it. If I don't try it then I might be missing out on the best thing I ever ate and that would be unfortunate. Then again if I really liked it, it would be hard to find to eat agai.

Again with the chef show? :] I think if it was cooked in an omelette like the person on that TV show, I would eat it. Otherwise, no!

I have had goose eggs and duck eggs. I think I would try an Emu or an Ostrich egg. It at least deserves a try I think! After all, it's just an egg!! Oh - I also ate deviled quail eggs one time!

Hi, I did eat Ostrich egg before and the taste is almost same with normal chicken egg. The egg size is super big and my Mother-in-Law bought it fresh from the Ostrich farm. It was my first time having Ostrich egg and I am pretty curious with the taste. It taste delicious ,either cook with fried or steam version. It took few days for us to finish up the egg, super big portion and my mother in law took few days to finish up the Ostrich egg, so everyday, we were having ostrich egg for our dinner.
