Have you done this before? I am in the process and it is stressful, particularly when I sell it, I will be carless until I get another one. I live with two irascible men and getting them to cooperate all the time is a bit difficult. I could trade it in, but you typically get a lot less for a trade. I will hopefully have another car within a day or two of selling my vehicle though.

I had to sell my people carrier as i am not allowed to drive due to my health.I put my people carrier up for sale and the girl next door wanted to buy it.She could not afford to pay me all in one go,so i let her pay for it over a few months. My husband and i then decided to get him a newer car than the one that he had and that was stressful,as he was not sure what type of car he wanted. Now he has got another car that is alot newer than the one he had.

I hope to have it sold by Monday. The main guy who is interested in it, says he has the cash. I hope all goes well.

first off when selling the car make sure all your papers are in order
buy a new battery if your battery is old and new tires
usually buyers will appreciate these three
you'll get more out of your car if everything is in good working order and if you think it's up for a repaint, do so

Normally when we trade in our car, we get to drive it until it is time to collect the new ride. I agree that this will save us a lot of hassle. Beside, when we do business with the car agent, they will handle all the paperwork. What we will need to do is to sign all of them.
