Ever heard of this statement? What is your opinion about it and about freedom?
I think everyone has the ability to do good things and the ability to not be compelled to do wrong and bad things. That is my opinion about freedom, the capability to do what is good and not the capability to do whatever we want.
About the statement, because we all are temporary beings, one day we would die, I believe we should feel that freedom of doing good while we live to satisfy that feeling of being in this world for a purpose. I believe humans feel that each one of us has a purpose that drives us to do good things for our race, for the environment, for our loved ones and other things we care for.
I believe this is a powerful statement that could let others realize that there is inner good in everyone and that good can be shown through the freedom that we are endowed with.

I've never heard this, but it reminds me another one we used to say years ago:
"Wear your new clothes!" This is a wish of poor times when people guard their best clothes for special occasions. But it doesn't worth it to wait too long to have good time, to enjoy your life. You have to do it right now or you may never see the moment when you can put your new clothes.

I remember our parents told us siblings to use the good china wares because we kept using the cheap ones because we fear having those good one broken. But it is true, what we have we should use because there would be no purpose to those things if we just keep them.
And in my course, accounting, those 'long-term assets' will sooner or later depreciate so we should use them while they can generate 'income' or positive functions before they get impaired.
In relation to freedom, we have rights excluding the right to do wrong towards ourselves and our actions. Since we have freedom, we should enjoy it while we live right?

Yes, that is the complete opposite of procrastination. We start doing whatever we want now before it's too late. Everyone's time is limited so our goals will only be fulfilled if it is initiated not waited.

Yes you can feel the freedom like no tomorrow but do not forget that you will be accountable to GOD in whatever you do here on earth.
