I like porridge of any kinds, but most times I have plain porridge for breakfast as it is easier to cook. But we usually eat porridge with some dishes. Porridge is one of my favorites in summer, not only in the morning, but in the evening as well. Take care, shia.

Hi,
Porridge is always the healthier meail for family.
SOmetimes, I will cook porridge for breakfast or lunch.
It is pretty simple and easy to cook.
For addition, I will cook another 1 to 2 dishes to
eat together with porridge.
I also like to add bit of Maggi soya sauce or Bovril to
my porridge, the taste is superb.

Hi Bebs,
I am cooking frogleg in my porridge. It means I am putting the
frogleg into the porridge and let them cook together. It is best
to get bigger size frogleg,so easier to eat.
Add some sliced ginger to get rid off the fishy taste and do add some
vegetables for sweet taste.
Give it a try and whose know you may like to eat this frogleg
porridge too.
Hi ALbert,
Yes ,frogleg is like chicken meat, but it taste softer and
have less meat. Unless you are getting big size frogleg, then the
meat is alot and I love to eat stir fried frogleg with dried chillies.
It taste spicy and delicious. I just cook it two days ago.

I have never tried fish, frogleg or chicken porridge, but it sounds interesting. I like the idea of trying something new. I don't usually eat porridge for breakfast, but I eat it in the evening sometimes. When I was a child my mother sometimes made barley porridge for us. Today my favourite porridge is rice porridge, but I also eat oat porridge sometimes. I always eat porridge with cinnamon, sugar and butter. When I was working in the home health team I sometimes cooked breakfast for the patients and some of them asked for oat porridge with mashes apples, but I have never tried that myself.

Hi,
It is good to eat something light in the morning and
from my point of view, porridge is one of the best breakfast menu.
Sometimes, I will cook porridge for lunch during weekend.
When I feel lazy to cook more food, then porridge comes
to my mind.It is easy to cook and I just need to add some meats and
vegetable to the porridge and it definitely have sweet taste and
smell delicious.

FROG LEG? Wow, that is pretty exotic. First time I heard that with congee, and fish too. I usually eat porridge with oxtripe, chicken, eyeball (that is exotic too!) intestines (I don't know if it is from pork or beef). I am from the Philippines and those foods are normal here.
