Anybody here who is on Cloud Crowd, can you answer a few questions for me? I recently signed up and just today was able to take the English Editor Credential test, which (I think) went fine. I guess I'll find out how I did soon. But what happens if they don't like the way I re-wrote the website? If I get a poor grading on that Test, can I take it again?
Also, I thought I noticed something about "skipping" jobs, and that it could affect your credibility rating? Can anyone explain to me a little more about the kinds of things (other than the obvious, not doing the work correctly) that will keep my Credibility rating low?
Any other tips and tricks that you may have for that site and how to profit with it would also be helpful. Thanks!

You will not be able to retake the credential test, if you fail in it. They may allow you to retake it in future, but currently you cannot. Skipping a task in CloudCrowd will not affect your credibility. Actually it is advised to skip the task if you are not sure of its answer rather than guess it.
If you haven't joined the CloudCrowd support forum, you can join using this link -

Thanks for the response. I have seen the support forum, but the whole thing seems very confusing and it seems as though there are not a lot of actual informative answers being posted. Seems mostly like only people complaining, lol. But at least I know now that I can 'skip' a task without hurting my Credibility rating.
Thanks for the reply!

It is a support forum and so there will be a lot of complaining and whining there for sure. But in that forum you could find answers to almost all your possible queries. Either you have find them by searching or you need to ask for help. If you do ask, help will always be provided.

Yes, actually, I have read more on there, as well as made a post because of the number of jobs I have had rejected which are correct. Apparently they are having a real problem with people who don't actually know the jobs well enough being the ones to review and accept/reject our work, so a lot of things are being rejected even though they are correct. I also filed an appeal for one of mine, too. I'm becoming very frustrated, very quickly, with that site.

Once you fail their credential test you may not be able to retake it again. You should be careful when taking a credential test. I fail may credential test before, they are very strict with that. I thought I did a good job but I also get a poor grade. If your credibility falls down, your account may be put into probation and you are not allowed to take a task. When my credibility falls down, I try to raise it up again by doing a small task like online research. Yes, it can help a lot especially when you account is under probation.

My Editor Credentials test is still waiting to be assessed. That's mainly what I am interested in doing on that site, and I know that my editing skills are very good to excellent. If I don't pass their test, I will probably just delete my account on that site. I don't think I want to keep doing .02 cent tasks and worrying over them that one mistake will drag my rating down. I have not seen any of the other tasks, other than the Extraction and Extraction Review tasks however, so I could change my mind if I find something else to do there that I like.
