I will say the hobby of my life as such. I have many hobbies but this is the best of all. In coins i have collected over 150 coins of many countries as of now. The recent interest in coin collection for me is bimetallic coins. In currencies i have over 60 currencies as of now. The specialty I am going in currency collection is for polymer notes. In fact i have polymer notes of many different countries as of now. It should be around 10 of them. Share ur thoughts on this hobby.

I do have coins kept in my drawer. .... What is polymer? What is bimetallic coins? The coins that I collected are coins from our country. I have coins dating back 1914 until the present. It is fun to ahve all these.

Polymer notes are plastic notes and bimetallic coins are the ones that has two metal rims.

Interesting subject we just found a 1878 silver dollar coin and we were wondering if it was worth anything? We wanted to sell it but we also would like to have it appraised. We really don't know if it is worth anything but we also have around 4 other coins that run around the same year. What do you think?

My best suggestion for you is to put it on auction in eBay. You will get a good deal of money for them.

Hi, I do keep some coutries coin and notes for my collection, but it is just a small quantity and I do it just for fun. Not really my hobby. SInce I travelled to those countries before and I have some balanced of their money,so I just keep them well for memories. I am a collector of phonecards and red packet(ang pow - for chinese new year). I have few albums for both items and till now, I am still collecting them.

When I was very young, I had the hobby of clloecting coins, and, when we are very young, I guess most people have this habit too. However, as I am growing day by day, I lose interest in it grdually - perhaps I have more pocket money and coin collecting gets useless more or less. Of course, with the development of our society, I hear that there are many people who make investments in coins and pennies. That is to say, perhaps we may gain big fortunes from our collected coins.

When I was younger, I collected coins. It was a hobby my father and grandfather passed onto me. I really enjoyed it when I was younger. I kind of got out of it and haven't done much collecting, and honestly am not sure if I still have any of the ones I collected. My kids really enjoy things like this. Maybe I should encourage them to begin collecting coins.

I collect pennies and put them in a jar, my grandma got me started, and I like having a little extra money, I also collect quarters that don't have the Eagle on the back. I like to collect silver dollars too.

I don't have that hobby, but i always wanted to collect something. Still remember my parents had some old coins, but never gave it to me, with faces of famous bulgarians :) I'm sure it's very interesting if you feel it deep in your heart. Unfortunately i don't have interest for anything like that. But congratulations for you.
