do you hate lizards/geckos???

I like lizards and my father and brothers just love them (snakes also). I'm more of a spiders/tarantulas lover. Is your hatred actually a phobia? Or are they like pests for you?

hi abj163 I don't hate or love lizards, however they are badly needed by our ecosystem because they eat mosquitos. What I do hate and am very much afraid of are cockroaches...wah it freezes me whenever I see one specially when it's flying...

Yes I love the tiny geckos. I have a winter place in South Texas USA and I was in the garage last winter when a gecko jumped onto my hand as I was about to open a door. It was a brown color and it stayed right there on my hand as I carefully walked around to my neighbors, (I knew they were on the patio) the gecko stayed on my hand as I showed it to them. Then it began to change color. First its legs and then its body. Suddenly it jumped to my shoulder (I was wearing a green shirt) The gecko was the same color as my shirt. The interesting thing, it changed color, knowing that it would jump to my shoulder and be the same color as my shirt. These little lizards eat lots of flies and mosquitoes!

abj scared of tiny cute little lizards, you probably have scared them silly so they will not get near your nice home. I do not mind the cute little green ones we have here in Southern Ca. they eat flies and insects and hurt no one. now a gilla monster would make me run the other way but tiny little lizzards come one, they cannot hurt you at all. he heh he.

not really "love" them but I don't mind seeing one. My family actually "takes care" of two lizards. Well actually we just feed it with rice. We put rice on one side where they usually go, then when they arrive, they'll eat it. We don't mind having them. They're not ruining anything. So I'm just okay having them.

Omg! I hate them so gross and scary, they're everywhere when I went to mexico and jamaica i freaked out! I mean they don't bother you or do anything to you its like squirrels in your backyard for the most part but to me they freak me out they're liek scaly and green and gross and mean looking.

I don't like lizards. I am afraid of them. We have lizards in our house but there are only a few. But still I don't like seeing them.

I actually have no problems with Lizards or geckos, I don't really see them if I do it's cool! I haven't really seen many aside from either on vacation away from where I live, in other people's houses or around, and another person's house even here there are sometimes geckos because of the rain. We've never had that problem though at my house.

When I was young, I was told that geckos will remain stuck on your skin so that your skin gets pulled off along with the gecko if you attempt to. From then on, I was always scared of geckos. There's also that nasty look about them. Like an evil grin! I dont hate lizards. They're just totally harmless.

Hi, I hate lizards and I am so scared of them. Whenever I saw a lizard in my bedroom,I will faster ask my husband to kill it. I can't sleep well when there is a lizard inside my bedtoom. There was once a big lizard dropped and fell on my back,From that time onwards, I am so scared of lizards. Can you imagine how disgusting it is.I was run so fast to get myself away from that lizard. and my face started to get pale.

for me very sue I don't like them specially there skin not smooth and scary.

I don't hate them. What I hate the most are cockroaches. They are my most hated insects in the world (I guess). Haha! I just freak put when I see one more than lizards/geckos. The latter are not that scary to me. I don't know somebody who like them. Well, I guess those who capture and eat them...

I actually used to have pet lizards and i always thought they were pretty cool. So i would say i love them. They can be pretty vicious at times but watching them eat live crickets is just to cool so i definitely could never hate them. geckos just look awesome in my opinion all orange and stuff. I used to love finding them on the ground while camping. Although they used to poop in my hand, blahh.

Hi, I remember when we went on a vacation on an island. It was middle of the night and we woke up by the sound on the lizard on top of the ceiling in our room. We couldn't go back to sleep cause it's really noisy so we turned on the t.v. When the t.v. channel is in drama, the lizard keeps being noisy but when we turned the t.v. to news, it kept quiet, lol. And this is for real. This lizard loves watching news. So the following night, we just kept the t.v. on, in news channel and the lizard didn't even bother making a noise. No, I don't hate lizards I think they protect us from pesky bugs.
