has anyone here tried online shopping if you are from PHILIPPINES?

I recently browsing some online store but its based on US..they got a lot of summer sale going on and wondering how much will I pay for the shipping because if it falls in CUSTOMS here, they will another tax before u get ur stuff aside from paying shipping fees from the online stores..This is really frustrating for people like me who loves different shoes or clothes but cannot find it here in Philippines and sometimes doesnt have time to go on shopping malls..ANy suggestions guys to ship products from US to PHILIPPINES? I dont have any relatives who lives in US by the way.

i guess u can try to shop on multiply or facebook cause most of there stuff right now if from other country like usa and other asian country. ebay is one online trusted online shop and alibaba

ebay is not that safe anymore, i was scammed once, amounting to 1000php, i bought from a seller with 308 positive feedback and a powerseller, wasnt able to get my item nor had any contact from the seller..huhu..it pissed me off...why ebay?!!!beware..

Shipping cost from US is really high. I think there is no other way to lessen that since you don't have relative there.

how about having another Filipino buy it for you, pay her a percentage and have it shipped her via balikbayan box, better watch out for their feedback though, i know a fee people who do this kind of business, You send them a link on the items you want to purchase, they'll send you a price quote for your total dues, then pay them locally, after wards wait until they ship it here in the Philippines via balikbayan box these takes at least 2 months though, or pay extra to cut short the international delivery time. but i think you have to pay additional domestic shipping cost. i hope that helps, though i never tried it,....
