Survivor has entered into season 21!
Young Vs Old
The Espada Tribe, made up of individuals over the age of 40 versus the La Flor Tribe, consisting of individuals 30 years of age and younger.
This time the castaways will find themselves in impenetrable terrain, smoldering volcanoes and savage wildlife - Nicaragua. Filming site is reported to be 45 minutes South of San Juan Del Sur near Costa Paraiso, Ostional (cliff-surrounded, forested setting makes for a rather private stretch of beautiful oval-shaped coastline) and Pochote, very close to the Costa Rica border.
Thank God, we are not having that conniving Russell and the slot has moved to Wednesday.
Who will outplay and ultimately outlast their challenges and challengers?
Who do you think will prevail: youth or maturity?

whoa!!... season 21 already ??!
i think our local tv station has stopped airing the Survivor, for quite some already, that i've lost track of how many seasons have passed..
the last one i remember i watched was the Survivor Celebrity.. probably that was even before.. they reached the 10th. season..
but personally,.. i'd rather watch the Amazing Race.. a lot more action - very much less 'politics'..

4mymak,
Well, believe it or not season 22 has already been confirmed and forthcoming.
Even with your local television network's cessation, I am sure you will be able to catch season 21 online, if you are keen.
I like the Amazing Race too but Survivor is really much more raw with everything depending on one's will and wisdom to survive the brutal elements.

I don't watch Survivor but I hope the old group wins. Might give me some hope that being old doesn't mean that you are out of the game. I can imagine the youth winning though because they are strong and don't have much physical pain as older people.

PDBME2,
I am being open and objective here.
Tribe La Flora may have youth on their side but I can assure you that youths come with that brashness which strains alliances when the bow breaks.
Young people really do not see eye to eye easily and can be emotionally unstable. Once the hornet's nest is stirred within, I can assure you that another all hell will break loose.
Incidentally, did you know that the Espada tribe actually has a prolific NFL coach Jimmy Johnson in their midst? I can assure you that this team will be well led and motivated by such a man.
If this tribe can pace themselves and compete with a positive attitude, I am sure they can give their opponents a run for their money.

dawnald,
I don't think you would or could have missed it.
I believe 2 episodes would have been aired already where both the El Flora (Youth) tribe and Espana (Senior) tribe have each won an immunity challenge.
So, it is a draw so far with both teams eliminating a member of their group each. I suppose the senior Espana tribe could still give the young El Flora tribe a "whipping".
I am sure you would have seen the awry hormone running loose El Flora when they faced tribal council. All hell certain broke loose and cohesion was thrown out of the door there.
Have a nice day.

EAStanley,
Hip Hip Hooray!
Well, you can say that again as I am really tired and bored with Russell Haans' character which I think this successful television series can do without.
Jimmy Johnson, is really God sent where I am sure his successful coaching and management experiences would bring both the motivation and cohesion to the team.
Have a nice day.
P.S.
I am sure that most of your member friends are still here - they may be probably busy with their work and/or life.

When it all comes down to it, I think that the older group is likely to do a lot better than the younger group. The reason that I feel this way is because I think that they are less likely to have the childish kind of drama that you tend to see in younger people. Now, I will admit that I am one that can fit into the younger group (just barely), but I am also showing that I really don't have a lot of faith in my own generation.

dorannmwin,
I am sure by now you would have caught 2 episodes of season 21 already and pretty like how the senior Espana tribe are doing so far.
To date both tribes had claimed 1 victory each and attended tribal council. Needless, to say both already lost one player each being Wendy for Espana and Shannon for El Flora.
So, I'd say things are pretty even up for now where the aged and experience are challenging the young and vibrant. Really a season to watch and not to be missed.
Enjoy!

Bookmite,
I am sure you would be pleased with the outcome so far with the senior tribe claiming victory on the second immunity challenge.
Jimmy Johnson in Espana tribe (senior) is really a dynamic character and he is surely a motivation catalyst in the senior tribe. I really admire his gut especially coming into Survivor with a threatening medical condition is something you do not get to see at all.
I mean here is such a successful and legendary character who doesn't really need the money in this competition and he is really the strength in the team which speaks volumes of his achievements and accolades. I hope that he will be in the final.
And yes, I am rooting for the senior Espana tribe too.
