I know they are not of the same level as Jollibee's or Mcdonalds or Burger king but I love them. LOL. They're the buy one take one hamburgers.
I know in my previous post that I have mentioned that they are part of the top 7 deadly foods in Pinas - one of the reason why I got depressed. lol.
I love their cheeseburger because it's only 31php. Sometimes, I buy them so that I could make them as "baon" whenever I got to work or maybe when I am on my way home.
Do you also had a taste in their burgers? =)

hi there totallyundecided!
hey u're talking about angel's hamburger right? the store in yellow color? haha.
well, i dont want to offend you right there. but i have something important to share. actually we do also have here in Lipa that food store.. and i also liked it before because its so cheap. but one real story made it turn the other way around! my classmate said that his cousin unexpectedly saw a rat's tail on the patties of those burgers. actually the accident happened while his cousin was eating that burger and then something hard stuck on his teeth or the bagang? then when he pulled it, it was a tail. anyway, it doesnt matter to me if its rat's tail or what. but now, i found myself disgusted everytime i see that food store! well.. im only sharing it. and its yours whether to believe me or not. :)

Seriously??? OMG!!!
Wow. That just took my appetite away. Goodbye Angel's hamburger? When did it happen?
Maybe that's the reason why the price is very affordable.

hey hey.
yeah its really true. angel's burger was once one of my faves! but when i heard that story from my classmate, it didn't give me an after-thought! coz why would he say stupid things or invent stories like those? i hated that burger now.. and everytime i see people buying on that store, its like i really want to shout at them that those patties have rats! yuck!! and if the stories i heard were all fake, i dont care at all now. its better to avoid eating those, after all they are only burgers! i would prefer those in food chains, at least im sure they're safe!

There are a lot of Angel's Burgers here. Buy 1 take 1 burgers are really famous.
A friend told me about a buy 1 take 1 burger food chain, I'm 80% sure it's Angel's Burgers (can't remember because the story was relayed to me about 2-3 years ago). The burger joint buys expired cheese for their cheese burgers. It's a known fact that even though the date stamp states that the product is expired, you can still use it for a few days or so (depending on the product).
one of the reasons why their cheese burgers are cheap?

Another eye opener. Wow. After reading alexa's post and now yours... my appetite for Angel's Hamburger went down to zero to negative 80%. LOL
I am appalled. Really.

Well, we dong have any such cheap burger store here in India, mainly coz burgers are still not Indian food…they are still MNC food as far as most Indians are concerned…for youngsters, for once in a while family dinner or by people who have lots of money. McDonalds and KFC costs quite a sum (though I must say that I love their quality and quantity, both) and we don’t really have any burger chains which are completely Indian and serving cheap or affordable burgers for all. However, I must agree with two previous posters…one who mentions about a rat tail in the patty…well, I do think that when we go for cheap, there’s some sort of compromise we have to make on the quality. The second poster says however, that international burger chains are expensive as because we have to pay for their fancy packings and logos and all…this is equally true LOL…I guess there’s no food chain that’s clean, healthy, aesthetically appealing while being affordable too!

Thanks, sudip. Not that I will vow myself not to eat burger but maybe I shuld be really wise. Cheap yet there's something on it or a little expensive whereas you know it's a good quality.
The heartbreaks I have to endure in this post. LOL

LOL. I am a Jollibee kid at heart and I am very happy that Jollibee has reached USA and some other countries. :D
Angel's Hamburger is more like the masa version. Same like burger machine but only cheaper and has a buy one take one promo. :D
Thanks for gracing my discussion. I bet you're an Lakers fan. =)

YES!!! Still every Cebuano's favorite. During my day off, I just go there to buy ngohiong and have a take out. Siomai sa tisa and larshan (the much more improved and clean) is still alive.
Where are you from by the way?

I've tasted their buy one, take one burgers when I was still in college. It's really practical and very ideal for a student's pocket. But the thing is, it should not be over-eaten, just like any other processed foods. "Everything in moderation", my aunt always says. Their burgers taste more like 'homemade' than the ones in fastfood chains like Jollibee and McDonald's.

you see, almost 60% of what you pay for a single burger at famous fast food chain goes to the fancy burger wrapper (with their logos and labels), tissues(again with their logos and labels), ketchup plastic pouch and so on and so forth. ^.^ we actually are paying for their name, their air con, security guards and their electricity.
I like their footlongs, it's also buy one take one. ^.^
