I have tried to complete a few tasks that have been posted. The SharonBucks Tasks are great, no problem. But other tasks posted are seemingly a complete waste of time for me. Have you been successful completing any of the listed tasks? Share your experience.

Hi artistry,
Sorry to hear about your being cheated out of one task. Learn from the lesson and do just the legitimate ones next time.
So far I have not done any writing tasks, just the small ones requesting for signups which I now realized are actually a waste of my time. There are others that I like to do but which are only opened to people from certain countries.
With all that, I think I rather spend time posting and responding here.

...Hi there bluemoon, Hope you ar well. Good advice indeed. You are so right, I also signed up for two others some time ago as you did, again a complete waste of time, you wind up doing things that never get recognized as completed. So as you say for sure the better way to go is responding to discussions and posting disussion subjects. I will not be drawn in again. Thanks so much for responding, take care.

Certainly, responding and posting here is much more rewarding.
Crowdcloud also gives quite a decent payout, you can do the tasks there too.

There are a lot of tasks available for mylot members before, but now they have decreases. I have done around 4 successful tasks here in mylot. But I really do not enjoy doing tasks here so I concentrate more on making discussions and posting responses.

....Hi there JOIEMARVIC, I think you have the right idea, at least you don/t have to worry if your work will be considered. At this point I just read the tasks other than SharonBucks for entertainment purposes just to see what is offered. I do not plan on trying any of them again. Although there are many who are completing them and are happy with their accomplishments. Just my bad luck I would guess that my effort did not pan out. Thank you for your reponse. Take care.

I have done a few tasks, not very many. The only category I like to do is writing. The others are just too confusing. I have not been spending much time on those tasks. As you say, some of them are waste of time. Not exciting at all.

...Hi there greenline, Those are the tasks that I have been doing, the writing assignments which are fine. But the smaller ones giving you specific instructions for posting etc., I don't seem to have good luck in being compensated after I do as instructed. It gets a bit frustrating, so I think that I will not do any tasks except the SharonBucks Tasks. Lesson learned. Thank you so much for your response.
Take care.

I've completed a couple of tasks, even though they weren't Sharonbucks tasks. I haven't tried them yet. They seem a little initimating to me. But, the ones I tried were fairly easy to complete. I will probably try Sharonbucks tasks eventually, I just need to find the right one that interests me.

...Hi there Steinway, That sounds very good, you have been satisfied with your task completions. I just felt a little put off by something that I did, following instructions and was not at all satisfied with the end result. But I think I know better now. I will only do the SharonBucks Tasks which you can depend on. No need to be intimidated, as long as you research the topic, get two or three sources and try to put it in your own words as much as possible you will be fine. Look for a task that does not have a lot of keywords or phrases to start with. Thanks so much for your response. Still playing that piano I hope. "o) Take care.

I've completed 7 tasks and I like doing them because they give me a little extra money and extra money is always good.

I have tried one task, and it got rejected because i used the word I too many times. It felt a bit silly to me. What is worse, is that i wasnt sent it back just to redo it slightly. I found this really annoying, and since then, i have never doen another task

...Hi fpsninja, I love to write and so doing the writing tasks suit me just fine. It's the smaller ones that I have tried and not been satisfied with the outcome. But you learn your lesson and you go on from there. Don't give up on the writing, I have had a rejection of that sort. I used too many commas. But from there I knew what not to do. Keep at it. Thanks for your response. Take care.

I recently completed a task successfully, and it didn't take me much time either, so I was very pleased. Just make sure you choose tasks you are kind of interested in anyway, that way it won't be so annoying to do them...

i completed i think 2 tasks and it totally worth it. they were easy to do and i completed them in a very short time. you hav eto pick those that you can do and than won't be a problem finishing them. a complicated one that needs to much time compliting simply doesn't worth it, in my oppinon anyway.

I am so new here .. I'm in need of further instructions!! Anyway, two weeks before Xmas, something said to me paint the living and dining rooms .. you want warm walls and not that icy buff no color. I purchased great paint, rollers and brushes, set up my trusty old ladder, did some line taping and got started!! This was more than just a notion .. it was hard work, especially clearing the white baseboards and the ceilings!! Hey, I got it done days before Xmas .. my living and dining rooms are now warm and cozy. Job/task well done. ]]]patting own back[[[

..Hi darling gladys, Good work on writing. The key here is that you are new here. When the discussion mentioned "tasks" they were talking about doing those mylot tasks I was telling you about. But you got your feet wet and gave us an insight into how industrious you are at home. More energy than I have. Great job and very good work, I can see you are an energizer bunny. "o) Welcome to the ranch, lots of friendly people here. Take it easy.
