Secret grabber. Mylot is so incredible

I haven't got any secrets, so if I tell something here, everyone already knows it around me... I agree, that this is like a secret diary for some people, but one that any one can find, and read, and EVEN comment on! All good if you ask me...

If you folks new ALL the ins and outs of my exciting life you would be shocked, get alot of laughs and probably have me commited at some point. Hehehe No, I actually can deeply appreciate the folks who feel confidant about us to expound about their lives. I do so to rant and to get feedback when I feel I need it.

90% of them are women. What do you expect? But like you, I am amaze at this phenomena which is sweeping the internet world. And it is not only mylot. You got myspace, facebook and tweeter. Identity theft is growing by the day. You only need to get all the details of someone in their profile, and you can be that person.

With you here, i don't think so. I see you are trying your utmost best to skip that ten years. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. Suck it up, sweetie. TATA.

I don't find it like a diary. Just a place where one could be comfortable expressing themselves with objectionable people. As oppose to people in their direct lives where the judgments perhaps could hurt a bit.

I think it's easier to share your secrets on the internet than it is in real life. On mylot nobody judges you and everyone is here to help you. Real life is very different. I don't think I've ever let any secrets slip here... Not yet anyway.

Well, over the time I have been a member here I know I have shared a lot of things going on. Some of them were bits of personal information about myself and what is going on in my life, and then there were times I might have shared about something going on at work, or someone I know, or my personal feelings about something else but making sure I did not let it effect me in other ways as well. Yes, sometimes sharing something here could be harmful in the end, but if you choose to be indiscreet about it, it could also help you or someone else get thru those moments as well. Personally I see nothing wrong with it, unless you are belittling someone or just deflaming someone. Because unless everyone here you talk about are members here most of the time a lot of what we post here is not that bad anyways. And in comparison when you compare this site with like MySpace, or Facebook where they use your real names, I find this site a little safer to talk about things going on in life as well. Because at least here you can be a little more private and not have all the world know.

hi renhard you are overromanticizing it a bit but if those who want to talk about their love lives fun as we are mostly all friends here and we do care for each other. I have no secerts,'my life and problems are an open book as I am an honest senior citizen, and have done nothing ever to be ashamed of either. to me mylot is incredible for being open to so many of our friends around the world.My idiom is I will not put on the net anything I do not want the whole world to hear so rest assured I have no skeletons in my closet to share with you or anyone else. lol lol

I think many people are able to express feelings on mylot that they couldn't to people in their lives, I think that is a very good thing because people need to get things off their chest sometimes & mylot allows them to do that.

Although, some mylotters share life's experiences here in mylot but still it doesn't guarantee that these are truths and not lies. Anyone, can make a story especially if we personally don't know the user or has seen his face. But still, with this each of us make a profit and we learn from it.. That's my a salute to all mylotters whoever has done sharing and posting their own personally life and experiences here in mylot. It takes great effort to this one, especially sad moments of each one lives..

I do have a tendency to share a lot of my secrets during the time that I spend on mylot. I think that a lot of the reason that I do this is because of the fact that no one I know uses mylot so it is a lot safer than talking to friends that have a tendency to repeat what I've said to someone else and thus when there is conflict it all gets blown out of proportion. I think that mylot is a great resource for being able to get things out in the open and I will continue to use the site in that way because it has kept me out of trouble.

cyberspace is a place where we can become someone else. Then , why should we be bothered with telling personal things to others confidential we don't know .

I don't blurt out all my secrets, no, but I do talk about some very personal things. Mostly I do that when I feel I need guidance. I want to know if my instincts are right in how I dealt with (or want to deal with ) something.

I am pretty open here; it is one of the reasons I love coming to MyLot. I can share my thoughts and feelings, ask and give advice, in other words we can help each other here. It is up to the individual how much he or she wants to share. Personally I am not one for secrets; the only time I don’t talk about something may be because it is too painful but having said that, sharing eases a lot of that pain too.

That is true .. There has been few discussion on which I have commented ,, The comments was about my feelings and some secrets that I have not shared with anyone. not even with a friend.. It feels good to know that people share their secrets here.. sometime I can relate myself with such things happen to me and it make me remember those good or bad times... The good part is that we don't have to be worried that your secrets will no longer be a secret...

I'm one of those people that you just described. Since people here don't know me in person I don't really mind sharing details about my life. Like you mentioned i wouldn't tell some of the things I write here to my closest friend. I think mylot is great because I can just talk about anything I like and get positive feedback.
