I love my mother so much, but I begun to really appreciate all the effort and all the love she had given me when I gave birth to my first child. Now I now how a mother feels when her child is sick or the worry of how to raise a good child.

Mommy I love you very very much I remember my Mom ironing our clothes for school, i remember her cooking the dish as i made a request, i remember her looking for money, asking from other people so that i can pay my school fees, i remember her selling vegetables and fruits onto our neighbors, I cant forget the time i saw her crying, My Dad and my MOm were arguing, we have no more money left, no more food on the table, no more money for electricity, i was wearing my school uniform during that morning and i cant go to school i have no money for the jeepney fare. when i told them i can walk to school (2km) she cried.. i did not know what to do. those were the days that have lingered in my memories as a child, I studied hard and work even harder to repay those moments i have stole from my parents..they are now on their 60's , time is running out for me. You have awakened me as a Father and a Child.

Yes. That is absolutely true. I feel sorry for not listening to her and all the big argumrnts we had. I know how she would have felt when I did not listen to her. Even now she annoys me a lot, but I am able to understand what she is going through.

Yeah before I never knew how my mom love me. I thought that she is so selfish not to let me do the things I want. I remember those times that I can't go out of the house because she doesn't want me to play with kids on the neighbors. It made me upset and one more thing my mother bought me a bitter taste vitamins to make me gain weight because I'm skinny when I was a child. She always cook vegetables which is not my favorite. Now, I just smile when I remember those things because now I'm also a mother and I also do the same. Because of Love. Now I know how my mom love me very much. I miss my mom... :-)

I totally agree. When I was a kid I used to think my mom was just being overly protective which I felt very annoying then. But when I became a mom I understood the anxiety my mom must have felt then. I was afraid that my baby will fall down, got hit by something, these kinds of thought. It was top priority to keep her safe and cautious and happy.

you're absolutly right. ioften heard this expretion from my mother while growing up, and didn't really undesrtand it untill i became a mom. as a child we often take forgranted the things that our mother provies us, the warm, the cousiness, the shelter that she gave us. and when we became parent we ca truly understand how much our parents work, and worried about us.
