Do I still want this??

Hi there, I have been with my partner for 4yrs now we have 1 child together who is 2yrs old and 2 more children from a prevouse relationship of mine. Just lately I have found myself questioning if I really want to be with my partner or not, I live around 200 miles away from all my family which is so annoying and I have told him I am un happy but it's like he doesn't care, we live 2 mins drive from his parents and he works with his dad every other day, I am so jealous of this and told him I want to move away from his and my family (very selfish I know). I look at him and just want to cry all the time, this doesn't sound or feel like love anymore I'm scared of being on my own which is a big factor in this if I was able to do more things myself I don't think I would be here at all..? Input please guys & Girls Thanks in advance.

i know how you feel and it is not a good feeling. I and my husband has been married for 2 years now. It is not easy to be away from your family. But at least in my situation it is a little bit different coz i came form diferrent country which is 10thousand miles aways and the family of my husband is 1500 miles away from us but at least i think it is fair. Rigth now in our marriage no in laws that will annoys us nor in my side of family or his. fair enough lol

Hi KATEGREGORY, I truly believe that you are depressed and need to figure out what you need in your life to make you happy again. You make be able to work this problem out alone, but I seriously doubt that you can. You should, in my opinion, seek some professional help, maybe start with your primary doctor and see if there are any recommendations of treatment she/he may offer. You have got to find yourself a happy place in life. Can you have it there with your boyfriend of 4 years. I think so, as long as you don't allow yourself to be swallowed up in his world only. You have to find something to do that would enhance your life and bring your self esteem back up. Being away from your family can't be the only thing that is bringing you down. If that were the case, a greyhound bus ride every once in awhile could cure what ails you. Since, I feel that there is much more to this story, I suggest you evaluate your circumstances. The choice about your future is up to you, and you alone. Do you stay and remain depressed? That's up to you. You can stay, if you still love your partner, and work to make a better life for yourself. Or, you could move closer to your family, if you think that would solve all your problem. No matter what place (emotional and physical) you are in your life, that place should have some happiness in it. Good Luck

I think you're just a bit confused due to this jealousy with his family. If his family is treating you well, why the need of moving out? All you need is to be happy and accept things as they were. That is your life now,and you have to live with it,good thing is,your partner accept you and your kids from previous relationship. Don't be selfish, open your eyes for the good things that are happening around you. Consider your kids and their future. What will you become if you will leave your current partner again, and then, will you going to find a new one (again?) Focus with your current life and think of better ways to make you and your kids life a better one. Happy mylotting and have a good day always

It hard when children are involving. It hard for children to change environment and father figure. So many factors to think about like the children schooling, work and the partner working situation.Sometime nothing is perfect or complete, one party have to sacrifice for the majority good.Keep on changing partners is not good also.Maybe is time to stare at the mirror and ask oneself what he/she really want.

It does sound like you are partially jealous. How often do you visit your family and what does he say when/if you do? It also sounds like you may be a little bit depressed. Try talking to him about your feelings and what makes you so upset. Maybe you are interpreting him all wrong. I am a man and we have a different way of expressing our emotions. Women are more outright with them while men seem to like to keep to themselves most of the time while the women always seems to try and understand other's feelings. Maybe he does care that you live very far away but you just do not know it. Being on your own is also very hard but if you truly do not love your man you should not be forced or feel forced to stay in a poisonous relationship. If you do decide to break up try counseling first you may be surprised how much it can help.

Talk to him, tell him its urgent and you're suffocating and you really need to talk to him you're just feeling like its the end and you just want to restore whatever it was you had.
