Old songs are nice

I have always loved old songs, but I cant seem to know what songs are they.. I don't know their song names as well as the singer.. All I know is the music and the voice behind it.. I wonder how do ple know what are the names of those songs being played on radio etc?? Just recently, I only know about the song, arthur's theme, yellow, after listening to them for nearly a decade withouT knowing the names!!!

i like old songs from 60´s 70´s,it was the time when rock was really nice =) now its so bad =/

I agree.. Rock songs from the past are really solid because they really rock the house with their vocals and technique of their instrument plays.

I agree the older songs are more relaxing and enjoyable. There is less anger in the songs that make it so.

Anger? I just realize it for songs of the past are often soothing and gentle, pleasing to the ears.. One is able to sense the sadness and love involved.. But now, only looks mattered more than the quality of songs even when they dun really put in true feelings to sing.

I have always been an avid fan of old songs. Oldies but goodies that's what they say. I seem to have the liking on most old songs since I find most old songs with great and wonderful lyrics. Its speaks more of emotion. I know that there are also good new songs but I think I am just more of the old type.

U have got an additional member to your old type group now!! I like old songs because there's alot of lyrics in them, unlike modern songs, more music than lyrics.

Yes I love old songs alot to.Mainly i like the fact the lyrics are original and not like the rap lyrics they have today.Sometime old song tell a story and are very memorable.This is why so many people know alot of the 60's and 70's songs by heart.Music today is growing apart from this and new music is just not the same anymore.

I do agree on the point whereby u said old songs are just like telling a story of their own.. That's one reason why I fall for old songs, such as 'dance with my father', as well as another old song, with the lyrics something abt writing letters grandpa grandma, something like that

I really love the old songs.. the lyrics are more elaborate and meaningful..many of the contemporary songs are just mere revival of the old...

That's right!! What makes old songs appealing to me are those meaningful lyrics and beautiful melody which accompanies it..

I recommend "Dream a little dream of me" and "Can't take my eyes off of you", both very good and from about the 40s.

Yeah, I know about these 2 songs and I do like them as well.. However I did not know that they existed since 40s!?!
