I know different people understood the word LOVE differently and the expression of love differs also according to one's culture. Now what's your understanding of the meaning of love? Is it all about sentimentalism or do you think there are other elements that constitute LOVE? How is love best expressed in your culture? Should we encourage falling in LOVE or growing in LOVE? Are they the same or different? Want to hear your share here.

Hi bekosfc, While I know that many people talk of "love at first sight", and I'm not saying that it doesn't happen, I really like the idea of "growing in love". Sometimes we see that in people who are married for a long time, they almost seem to think as one. Love is about accepting each other just as we are and not trying to change each other. Love is compassion, wanting the best for our spouse just as we do for ourselves. It is about being one. Blessings.
