Many students today find it hard to find a job related to their major in university.Because many jobs are really less popular in the country, just like applied mathematics, recreation management. Is your job related what you studied in university?

I dropped out of college/university and continued to learn in the "school of hard knocks". I'm "blue collar", working in a distribution center and even though its physically demanding, I get a great workout and it helps me stay healthy.
I didn't want to be locked into a profession where I wasn't sure I would like it and worse than that, not being able to find work in that field. Today I do what I enjoy doing and I do enjoy a challenge.

Hello,tomcat23
I think that it needs a lot of encouragement to drop out of college on your own. When you give up your diploma,it becomes more difficult to find a good job.Anyway, you have got a enjoyable job for yourself,If you are happy,it's worth it.

I've always felt that anything you can learn in school, you can learn on your own. In school, we learn from books, in life we learn from experience. Having a diploma or degree is truly a big help when it comes to getting the higher paid jobs, but the way I see it, you can do anything you put your mind to. What came first, humans or school? How did the humans learn before there were schools? Experience is indeed the best education. Stay in school is indeed great advice.

I still go to university. The job market is not great where I live. I hope to find a job in my field when I graduate.

Yeah, kind of, even though not completely related. I would prefer to work in something completely unrelated if I could though!
