Many of u may remember about me telling u about my good friend's preacher having to have a double lung transplant a few weeks ago. He liked to have never have woke up from the surgery, it took 2 weeks for him to do that. There has been alot of ups & downs for him. There has been a world of prayers said for him to. My friend told me yesterday that his wife was at church & she called her husband & put him on speaker phone & he talked to the whole church. Jenn said there wasn't a dry eye in the church. What a miracle, don't u think??

Hello antiquelady, thank you very much for best response, Hope your friends both take care and enjoy good health for a very long time to come. same goes for you. the worst part after a major operation is the recovery and healing period. But its all worth while in the end. big hugs to you all

Thanks for your response. I'm sure she is worn out. Trying to be w/him & her children here keeps her running the roads. I just hope he continues to improve & gets to come home soon. They told them up front he would be there at least 3 months after the surgery. Hope u have a good night.

Hi Jo,
I just came back 2 days ago from my vacations and this is the first post of yours I want to answer. I´m SO glad that the trasplant is working! I was very worried. You had told us what awonderful man he was but I remembered too how young he was and how he had a whole life to live.
You are right about the "world of prayers". Imagine us here at mylot, each of us in our own way, praying for him.
Miracles go a long way, dearest.

I am so glad he was able to speak to the church, and that they could hear him. This is one concrete way to let people know that praying for others is important and life changing.

Wow that is amazing...That he was able to do that after such radical surgery in just a few weeks. Let’s hope it is a good sign that the outcome of his ordeal will be a good one. It takes a while for the body to come good after illnesses let alone transplant surgery. I will pray for your friend.

Hi Jo
I am so glad that he got over it and is getting better
This has scared me though as it is possible that I will be having one of them in a few Years, also I will find out on the 23rd September if I have to have Lung Surgery to take some of the Lung away as my Lung is not able to expand any more which is causing me the pain in my Lungs
But I am so happy he has made it through

Wow, that's pretty fantastic.
I have to laugh at some of the shows on TV, where somebody has major surgery, and they're up and running around a week later. The reality is that it takes a whole lot longer, months and months sometimes.
I'm glad your friend pulled through, and may he continue to recover well...

This is wonderful news. Miracles do happen but not to everyone. I thought about this and think that if God granted a miracle to everyone then we would not longer be in awe of him and miracles would just become something that we would expect to happen. Do not think that I have explained my self properly.
I was so happy to hear of your trip and glad that you enjoyed yourself so much. Nothing like a girl's night out to lift the spirits I do hope that you all plan to do it again soon.

Happy mon. Cynthi, hope u are having a good day. Thanks for responding. It is a miracle he has come this far. He has had some major set-backs but your prayers & all the rest of our prayers i know have helped him. I think u explianed yourself very well. We all take too much for granted sometimes, i think. I really don't know bro. maxey but he is my good friend's jennifer's pastor & i have been hearing about him so long. When & if he gets to come back & preach again i'm going to go hear him. She thinks he's great& he's really built her church up.
Thanks, i did have a good time. Two of the 'girls' that are sisters are about like me & don't go much. Maybe we'll get to go somewhere again. Happy days to u. hugs, jo
