It was a different Sehwag to watch. He played a century deserving innings ,but unfortunately he didnt got it. The lankans bowled that no ball to avoid sehwag's century. I really wanted him to hit century. But I hate that unfair rule from ICC. That No ball is counted in the balls Sehwag faced ,but the six he hit was not counted. What to do ? Just sit and watch those idiot rules!

Well great to see Sehwag playing so responsibly in ODI ,in my view if he plays odis thinking as if he is playing a test match then he can be as successful in odis as he is in tests.I think he and Dhoni were only two senior batsman in the team so he took the responsibility and challenge hence played this wonderful innings , i hope his form continues to win India this tournament.

Well Sehwag played according to the pitch pace. That is why India was able to win the match and stroke making was not that easy but still he scored in quick manner. That shows he can be match winner for India in future and coming days. Sehwag must take care and be fit for the 2011 World CUp. I wish him all the best.

Yes this one was a remarkable victory for India, wow what a fine performance by the Indian bowlers and then Sehwag with is superb inning of 99 unfortunate for him, but India's win is more important than sehwag century. India got a bonus point which is badly needed as they were thrashed by Newzealand. so they are in the way of final if the rest matches caome with indian victories

Hats off to him because of whom we won the match and got bonus points too. Ya as you said its a black mark on them and any player should show there sportsmanship and not to trick like this. If he his a true player he will try to bowl hard for a dot but he showed his wrong attitude . But our hero took in right way that the spirit. He will show in next match that t=no trick can stop him hitting 100.

ya i am a big fan of viru and i felt very bad when he missed the century that too after smashing the last ball for a superb six. actually he deserved 100. its the cunning cricket from lankans denied him the 100.

Sehwag has been a special wonder for India for the last many years...he has been performing exceptionally for the past 2-3 seasons...his test cricket is phenomenal and ODI is also not lacking behind..if you see T20 champs India has one the championship when he was in team and lost the next 2 champiionship when he was not in the team...he is truly great..today's inning he did not play with his natural instinct..i.e. scoring below a strike rate of 100..which he eventually managed at the end of his innings...though sad that he could not get to his 100...bad play by the oppositions.

winning the match depends on the performance of every player according to me SEHWAG performs well when he takes special intrest to win the match but it was to say that he should practice well then he can perform well without any fail but sometimes by practicing well also losses match due to good bolling by opposite team
