Windows XP or Windows Vista which is better ?

I think Windows XP is better because it dosen't crash as much

xp did not have the bugs that Vista had. 7 corrects those bugs. XP while being good, is no longer supported by Microsoft.

Defiantly go for XP, most programs that work on vista will work on xp. THe onyl real advantage Vista has in directx 10, though if your interested in gaming you should go for win 7 with directx 11. XP is one of windows most stabel operating system, vista not so

I like to use Windows XP. I think it works fine and it won't slow down my computer as well as Vista. As to Windows 7, my husband uses it but I can't find a big difference between it and Windows XP. So I am not planning to use the latest version of Windows. I love China

i would definitely saw windows xp. Vista has some problems it need to sort out. Ater a long use with vista, most programms "stop working" and i never came up to that on xp. XP is the best. Windows 7 is awesome as well

XP Vista is much slower, has troubles running some programs (that runned well over years with earlier operating sistems), and has a lot of compatibility problems with hardware devices. No doubt about this, XP is far better than Vista

In my opinion, BETTER depends on a few things such as security features, reliability and stability, compatibility, user friendliness and others. Windows xp is much better than Vista for some number of reasons. System requirements, I think, is one of the reasons. Vista requires higher resources compared to XP especially in Graphics and RAM. Software compatibility is also great in windows xp, I haven't known any software that will not run in XP. Windows xp is also much reliable and stable compared to Vista, because almost all problems and issues has been already addressed and resolved by Microsoft so we can say that stability and reliability is one of the advantage of Xp over Vista. Windows XP is also very user-friendly, and it is almost very easy to use. In terms of security, Vista has quite have an edge over XP. This is because Vista has been designed with features that enhanced system security. But with a few tweaking and system configuration, you can overcome these security issues and make XP more secure. windows xp because it dont break down

As you mentioned windows 7 is better in compare of others.. but if you want to find better from xp and vista then surely xp is more better ... as it is running from many years it having no error in it.. but vista is in starting time(not much old like xp) so it having some errors as per experts.. ( i never faced problem in vista too ) .. but i think microsoft have leave vista by launching new os 7 which is itself upgraded version of vista.. So you can say 7 is the error free version of vista.:)
