My kid loves fruit but I see plenty of her friends who dislike them. I have helped encourage them by telling their parents to: Freeze banana's and grapes for instant candy Make popsicles or juice don't give candy every day. Got any more ideas?

Hi Hoshi-reed!. There is many thing you can do with fruit. My family love to made it into ice cream just blend it without water in blender than add sugar a little lime juice and put it in your ice cream maker. You already got healthy ice cream. Or you can covered every fruit with chocolate and frozen it and give it to your child as treat. or dipping it with chocolate fondue.

I think it starts with the parents eating fruit from the get go in front of the kids. And learning to hid things in their child's regular meals. Eventually they'll come around. See I don't have a problem with getting my kids to eat fruit. I have a problem with getting my oldest to eat veggies. She will only eat a certain few wich is fine as something is better than nothing but I want her to expand her horizons especially for vitamin content they need for their growth and development.

My child is picky to the fruits. Namely he just likes to eat a few fruits, such as pineapple, watermelon and banana. Sometimes he is forced to eat the apples when he is in the kindergarten. He doesn't like to eat other fruits. You gave me a very good idea to create different ways to encourage my child to try more fruits, thank you! I love China

Hi, It is good to eat fruits and I always encourage my son to eat more fruits. My son like to eat apple, guava, mangoes, grapes, dragon fruit, pamelo, kiwi. Fruits are good for digestion and it is best to eat at least one kind of fruit everyday. When my son is coughing, then I will stop giving him fruits. You can also present the fruits in a bento set,it looks so cute and it may definitely attract the kids to try eat the fruits. Or make some fruit juice if the kid does not like to bite fruits.

My kids love to eat fruits, any kind for that matter. But, if one of them would not want to eat a particular fruit because it smells a little off, I'd would put milk and cream on it so that the smell is neutralized and the taste becomes even better. It is just like creamy fresh fruits salad. To add, mix gelatin of different colors and flavors to the mixture. This will help entice the kids to eat.:) Good day to you, Hoshi.:)

My children dislike fruit except orange. It was very difficult for me to encourage them to try fresh fruit or fruit juice. And then I bought fruit candies for them. Luckily, they liked the candies so much. I told them these candies were made from fruit. And now they can try all fruit with willingness. Besides, we can add fresh fruit on the cakes or buy the dried fruit for the instead.

My son loves fruit, so I do not have an issue with this. One idea though I have found that kids really like is strawberries with cool whip. They love to dip strawberries in the cool whip, makes it a little more fun and then they enjoy eating the fruit more. Another one is slicing up apples to dip into peanut butter. Very healthy afternoon snack.
