Rain: what do you like and hate about it...

I love rain! Perhaps because I have lived in some very hot countries. I shouldn't like it because I come from Britain where there is too much, very cold rain. But in Pakistan it's very rare to see rain and it's hot - like taking a bath! Then in Greece, my present location, the summer is often rain free, so rain makes a pleasant change. My favorite part of rainy days is the smell of the soil you get as the rain first starts. The worst part is slippery footpaths as Greeks love to use marble everywhere!
