Flexi timings or fixed timings - which is better at work?

1st of all wat flexi timing is? flexi-time means employess are free to adjust their work-timing.While fixed timining are fixed 4 an individual. As in my views i believe fixed timings better because if you choose flexi timings then if every employee opts for one particular slot or in other words qhat if none of the employee turn up for a shift?????the absenteeism rate will increase manyfold. Discipline is very important in a workplace and fixed timing brings about just the right discipline in an organization. So what is your choice which one you will choose flexi or fixed?
