Many students earning while studying. Thats different from studying while earning??!! Yes. After finish studies and joined job, to pursue higher studies, some studying after job. Is it possible? Can you concentrate on studies with job tension and work pressure.
Am in job. But want to do higher studies to get better job. I find it difficult to study. Postponding every month to join because of some reasons. What you feel? Is it possible? How to make us to study with interest after job.

Of course, you can work and study. But we must have a real vision on it. Just for the sake of study and earning won't make any better. If we have a clear cut plans in mind and proper vision, and this vision will lead us to prosperity. As long as we are working and study, some extra effort is required and the our 'extra efforts' are so valuable and we need to respect and identify our requirements. And this longing ambition and hard work alongwith our interest would definitely give good results. As you said, you are working, and only if you think you can go ahead with both, then only go for it.
Now it is after one year I am commenting. So, you can exactly evaluate the one year period of your experience and how it got ended up in your life. Here I am working for a CA firm and many young girls and boys are learning as well as working. Also, most of them are there in the office upto 10-12 every day and go home very late and the find time for everything. So if there is a will, there is ...........
Regards,
Thank-s

You are right. For an average person, it is practically unable to manage in the normal situations. As long as our working culture and personal life is not so graded, to manage with study and working is too tiresome. As you said, take a break and concentrate on study is the best option. As this is the case, you may be aware that the CA results were declared about 15 days back, and as I expected, many were cleared and few of them could not. Just 5 mts. back, one girl who came to me and said that KKT, I am going for study leave for 2 months as I need to appear the exams again. In fact she couldn't clear 2 earlier attempts and this time she is determined and taking the off on without pay status.
However, on a higher level studies, working is always would be an obstacle as the 9-6 hrs. of work and some time more depend on the job provider. All factors are depend on individual to individual and many are opted for it, because our financial background and family surroundings also may not be well placed. In such cases, work and study is a fate for many. Especially, in the developed countries like UK, US are the same. People go for part time jobs for their earning and study for their betterment.
Thank-s

Yes. I also heard that. I thought it'll be better earning while studying. It may helpful for our small needs. But as i told when we're in situation to pursue higher studies which is very complicated and is necessary in our life, we cant take risk.

Im staying in CA students hostel only. I've seen so many different kind of people. Few struggling for studies. Few working and struggling for getting time to study. My friend who had 3 years experience quitted his job for CA final and studying. He is sure that he cant study enough to clear CA during job. Now he cleared one group after 2 attempts. So i conclude for some studies we need to focus on that only.

I don't have the energy for both. If I'm working 8 hours and sleeping 7 that leave 8 hours for school. 3 hours of class 2 classes a day needs 6 hours of studying a day. That wouldn't be full time. I did it one summer and I had to take from my sleep time to study. I had no social life which was fine, but I also only got 5-6 hours sleep a night. Never again. I'll do one or the other.

When I went to school I wanted to graduate with honers. The only way it was possible was to study almost every waking moment. I did it. Thankfully my parents supported me through college.

I don't know if I can handle both a job and schoolwork. Last year, even without a job, I didn't have much free time because my classes were pretty hard. Still, I did try to look for a job though because I need help affording my tuition. I think I'm going to continue looking for a job though and if I find one, I'll just have to work harder to handle it.

When I was 18, I went to college full-time and worked full-time. This was so very stressful. I ended up in the hospital because I was too stressed. I had to cut back on something, so I started to attend school part-time. I never did graduate and I very much regret that decision. I am now 37 and desperately trying to finish my degree. I should have stayed in school, if only taking one class at a time. I completely understand how you feel. But, school is important. So, even if you only get to take one class at a time, I would try to do it.

Yes. I can say we can do one thing with full concentration. If we feel cofortable then fine. But if we force ourselves more for this, it'll end up in stress and spoil our health more.

AS far as I am concerned, I think it is possible so much for us to work at the same time to stuty. For me, when I was still at school, I just usually go out to work and make some extra money to support my life. After I graduated from school, I am working while wi ll still try my best to learn some new knowledge. It is never too old to learn.!

Yes! It can be done. Here's my story as briefly as possible:
1.) I was an average student in High School...more interested in the social aspects than the learning aspects for the most part.
2.) I worked for almost ten years after college before taking a single college course...might have been 8 or 9 years...but I didn't go to college right away.
3.) I took one class or two classes at a time while working.
4.) I took a lot of time off...and in fact took 8 years to accumulate one year worth of college credits.
5.) I got tired of seeing people pass me up at work...and especially younger people.
6.) I worked about 50 hours a week, and went to school full time for the last three years...and pulled almost straight A's.
I think you are better off to do it while you are young...sacrifice now so you can enjoy more later. It is a stress...but you need to keep your mind on your goal. Good luck!!

You've learnt from your long experience it seems. Even my lover quitted his job after 5 years. Saved money for studies and studying in his 28 now. I feel shame before him. As im in night shift, my mind feel to take rest always in daytime and ask to relax in week ends. By thinking about good future, soon will try to study hard.

Yes it is possible, but hard. The trick is finding a job that allow you to study while working. Or you have to find a job that is in you field of study. This way you are able to learn something relevant while working. I think jobs that are the most meaningful are ones that you truly care about and are relevant to what you are doing.

Yes. Its true. Atleast we try to do job thats related to our higher studies. Otherwise we should be in the flexible job that alows to study.

Yeah, many college students now are doing part-time jobs. It's a little bit different from studying while you're working. Most people, as soon as they start to work, find themselves wholly concentrated on their jobs and can't find any extra time to study. That's easy to understand. After a whole day's work, you may only want to get some rest instead of enriching yourself with knowledge. This has been happening among many of my friends who want to pursue higher education while working, but only to find it very hard. I'm not quite bothered by this. I'm working and I'm still studying everyday. It's partly because of my job as a teacher.

Yes. You're lucky. If study and job is related, everything is fine and if its teaching side, it'll be easy. Most of my professors finished their research studies while working.

Well it is possible granted, but is it for everyone? I am leaning towards no. Some people can handle one or another, and it is hard to find a balance where we can handle both. Let's face it. In the end, people are going to have trouble studying even without the job at hand. Time management is a tricky thing to be sure and adding more variables may be more than enough for people to handle.
It is not for everyone. It is certainly not for me. I prefer to mostly focus on studying. I do some work on the Internet, to earn some money there, but a traditional full time job, that's really not something that I think that I might be able to manage on top of school. I think that people who try and balance such things might more often than not get crushed underneath the weight of their responsibilities. However, if they can manage it, then good for them. Very good for them.

Yeah. The trick of time management is in few people's hand. I couldnt make it. I think if i might do that its very good for my future. But im remembering when i was studying, i concentrated on only studies. So that i scored well. No worries about money, and all. Now everything torturing and confusing me.

it is really up to you. you just need to balance things and schedule it. time management is the key. but if you really want my opinion about this. i am not encouraging you to do that. enjoy school first focus on it. and after you graduated then go to work. but if this are for your masters degree then i hope that the people around you will be supportive. :D

Work and study at the same time? Sounds so interesting!
In most cases, for most people, it is next to impossible to study and work at the same time because we have no engouth energy to do two or more things at the same time. But it doesn't mean that we can't create such an ideal situation.
For me, perhaps I can work and study at the same time on the Internet. You see, I hope I can make big fortunes online someday, where is full of various potential chances. So, now, I am trying earning cash online, which is also a process of learning.
