Since all of us like to sleep so much. I think most of us almost spent half of our time per day sleeping and time for other activities seems to be not enough, right? If a day has 48 hours, how many hours would you use to sleep?

Since most people have to sleep 8 hours, most people would probably sleep 16 hours instead, which seems like a long time, but with days that long it is probably really not that long at all for most people. In fact staying up late would probably have a better meaning if you had 48 hours! Normally I sleep about 8 hours as well, so I'd probably sleep 16 hours. I wonder what the clock would be like if days were that long. :]

I would imagine the clock still be the same, only multiply by 2 for the digits it is showing :D

I think it would have to be all relative. If the day is 48 hours, you would probably still need sleep for a third of it to keep you going, so maybe 16 hours. Hopefully we wouldn't get bedsores.

I think 16 hours might be too long. It defeats the purpose for a day to be 48 hours :D

HI, If one day has 48 hours, I will still sleep for about 8 hours, it is more than enough for my body to get a full rest. Sleep too much will make my body feel tired and no energy. UNless, when I am sick ,then I will sleep more to make my body recovered fast.

Anyway, have you ever thought that if a day has 48 hrs, then there would also be more activities everyday and that too takes up more of your energy. I think maybe 10 hrs would be better :p

If a day has 48 hours I think I will sleep the same hours as I sleep during 24 hr day. I sleep for 5-7 hours per day so it will take 10-14 hours per day in a 48 hr day.
