The new hit snack at the Indiana State Fair this year is fried butter. I haven't been to the fair so I am not sure as to what it is, but I am also not sure that I would want to try it. I would think that it would be an artery clogging snack to say the least. It sounds awful, but I have heard that it is really good. I just can't imagine how it is fixed or what it tastes like. Would you try it? Have you ever had it? How would you think that it would be fixed?

It is probably one of those heart attack foods. I would eat it maybe once just so I could let my friends know what things I have done with my life.

It is a heart attack food and I think that a tee shirt like that would be perfect!

It sounds like a way to get high blood pressure and heart problems to me. There is alot of fat and cholesterol in butter. The only thing going for it is that butter is more natural than margarine. I think butter has a fair amount of salt in it also. I wouldn't try it. I often have sandwiches without butter and there is enough salt and fat in the diet naturally and don't see the need to put more on the bread. I heard that the USA is the most obese country in the world but Australia isn't that far behind them. Eating foods like that ain't that good. The main problem we have here is that the chefs at restaurants don't cook the meat properly. The reason why we have food cooked is to kill possible worms eggs and that living in the meat to stop them transferring to us. Uncooked meat is illogical to me. That is why i don't go out to eat that often.

That is what I think about it too. We are an obese country because we eat things like deep fried butter, deep fried twinkies, deep fried snickers, deep fried kool aid. UGH!!

I have never had it. I am only responding to say that when I read your title I nearly gagged! Fried BUTTER??? Oh, I think I gained 10 pounds just thinking about it! My boyfriend just has a heart attack reading over my shoulder!
just kidding, but yeah, sounds like the appetizer to a double bypass cardiac arrest

I think that it could cause serious health issues if you were to eat much of it.

Fried foods do not appeal to me. I would gues they take chunks of very cold or frozen butter and dip it in batter and deep fry it to a golden brown. It would be like a very buttery fried bun I would think. Then of course there are fried pickles, fried Snickers bars, fried twinkies and the list goes on.

This is a new one on me, I will have to see if it is at the state fair in PA this year where I am from.
I am trying to stay away from fried food these days, and don't really like butter all that much, so I will still not try it. I have heard of a new craze with fried pickles that are suppose to be really good, but again to me it sounds kind of strange. I will admit though a few years ago I did try a fried twinkie and it was pretty good.

I love fried pickles! Did you find fried butter at your fair? If so, did you try it? What was it like?

Fried butter??? Doesn't even sound appetizing at all! It sounds like it is very greasy and just plain gross! And I agree with you, it sounds artery clogging. I would be interested to know exactly what it is though.

I would like to know exactly how they do such a thing because we all know butter melts as it is heated. My daughter would probably like this as she loves butter.

I have never heard of fried butter. It seems to me that there must be other ingredients in it because if a person puts butter in a pan and heats it, it melts. I am not sure what would be in it. That is interesting. I might try it once just to say I tried it but I don't think I would eat it often.
