I was eating this frozen dinner of macaroni in cheese sauce and it just tasted terrible. I don't know how hard it is to mess up mac n cheese but they did it. Even if this was tasteless and bland it would have been better. =( Usually generic brand food is not that bad, but this is the worst. I've eaten other meals by them that were not so bad like chicken parm, lasagna, and baked beans with BBQ beef. Anyway, have you ever encountered bad macaroni and cheese? It is supposed to be the simplest thing to make lol.

Didn't encounter this yet, the person who messed up that macaroni and cheese must be very talented. After all , being able to make a big fuss of making macaroni and cheese would cost some great talent... in being terribly sucks with cooking, that is. Macaroni is a wonderful food, you can add up to it almost anything, cheese, meat, it is like Pita! Whatever you put inside becomes much more tastiet and delicious!

I agree with you about being able to add just about anything to it. I tried to make it taste better by adding cut up hot dogs and ketchup to it, but it still did not taste good. glad I only paid $1.67 for it.

The only ready meal macaroni cheese that I have encountered has been bland. We make our own, which is inconvenient, since we have to use GF pasta for my partner: which is also 4 times the price of wheat pasta. So that is twice the washing up. They cook at different speeds too.

Hi, BambooPanda13. The macaroni and cheese by Chef Boyardee is nasty! I ate some of this in 2008 during the winter. It was very nasty! It did not taste anything like macaroni and cheese at all. I don't know what this company was thinking when they decided to make this. My husband and kids ate some. I did not like it. Their other foods taste really good, but this macaroni and cheese in the can, was far from perfect!

Well, first off it was frozen which is never good. And using poor products can make it less than good. The type of cheese is a real important part of it. Baking it in the oven is the best way to go. The difference between powdered cheese and the real thing is like night and day. Next time I would added alittle graited cheese to it while it is hot. Could do wonders.
