I am a chinese, in my country we learn English in school, and English plays an important role in college entrance exam.
And I learn from TV that china become more and more powerful in the world, and more and more people want to work in China. Is it true?
So do you want to learn chinese or want your children learn chinese?

I would learn Chinese not because I want to work in China (that's just me), but purely for the sake of learning a new language. Of course, if it becomes useful in the future such as having the opportunity to work in a chinese environment (not just China), it would be a bonus. Yes, my children will learn Chinese if they have the opportunity.
