Do you wear 'ukay ukay' or used clothes from other countries?

That's true! They're usually overruns that's why they're weeded out from the factory and exported to other countries like the Philippines. If you're lucky, the sellers wouldn't even know a good brand and you get to have gap, old navy, banana republic, etc. for a very cheap price! I'm a frequent goer to bargains like that.

hello there! yeah, i also buy and wear clothes from ukay ukay. sometimes its fun looking for clothes there coz there's really lot of good stuffs. i have seen some store with just 5 peso stuff but sadly those stuffs are not nice and kinda dirty. hehe but maybe its just in that store. so i don't buy there, but with 2.50 haven't seen one yet. the cheapest that i got from there and still using till now after 2 or 3 years already is a black pencil skirt. i so like that one coz i can match it with most of my blouses. and i like it because no one really thinks that its just 10 pesos! haha and i remember that there's one occasion that i go where i wear clothes and shoes from ukay and many like what i ma wearing and keep on telling me that it must be expensive! lol! but in fact the hole outfit just cost almost a hundred pesos! great that i was able to wear them till now but right now, i don't usually go to the ukay stores because i don't have someone to accompany me and not much time to spend in 'ukay-ing' hehe

I think its good to buy clothes from Ukay Ukay, practically they are cheap, you just have to select the ones that is not much worn out. i buy my working long sleeves jacket/polo from ukay ukay P25 only. I use this for farm works, a lot of people laugh at me during the first times, but now i see them buying their clothes too from ukay ukay. Now we also have ukay ukay appliances, i just bought a grass cutter for only P3,500, the original price for that item was P21,000.

I buy from Ukay ukay, but my mon doesn't like me buying clothes there. Anyway, I don't mind using used clothes. They're really cheap and affordable. Ukay Ukays near my area are somewhat expensive so sometimes it's best to buy brand new clothes in divisoria. I love bargain hunting and UkayUkays are one of my favorite bargain hunting places!

I have bought some of my clothes at the Surplus Shop in SM malls. But from those "ukay-ukay" stores...I will probably pass especially if its true that they are used. Just think about it: if the former owner of these clothes have some skin diseases then you may end up catching it. Particularly suspect are shoes since bacterias can survive within the inner soles for a long time.

Cheap and they look exactly like the original. I really don't care much about the clothes I wear, what brand, quality, etc. If the shirt looks good on me then I couldn't care less if it's branded or not.

Yeah. I like ukay-ukay, too. But I was not able to buy as low as 2.50. The last time I bought a skirt, the cost was 75 but it looked so brand new. I think that was a great buy. I also bought a pair of somewhat new shoes for 70 pesos. It really saves me money.

Wow! thats so cheap. Honestly I really don't like to buy clothes from ukay ukay but I'm always tempted when I see good quality and style. What I like to buy and use is bags and shoes. I recently bought a pair of high heeled shoe. Most shoes in ukay ukay are branded and of good quality.

I like to buy ukay-ukay too. You can find great stuff there for a much lesser price. I have a couple of pieces from there.

"ukay ukay" is a great bargain as long as you are keen on looking for particular dresses that you like. You should also learn how to bargain with the saleslady. Sometimes you can make the item cheaper by talking nicely to the saleslady.

Of course I do. Because of our not so good economy today I can't afford to buy clothes at the mall or other boutiques coz of it's high cost. So I prefer those in 'ukay ukay' wherein I can have branded clothes but are very cheap. I'll just checked it very carefully for minor damage.
