Just a few minutes ago at Facebook, I read a post, actually it's more of a complain. There was this guy, my friend, he lives in another country. So school starts in September. And he says that he is not looking forward to the start of school. Then I started thinking, school there starts in September, it's still August. Why complain?! Then it hit me. It's August! Next is September! Just a few days more. So that is why he is complaining. So do you look forward for school(for those in school)? Do you look forward to BER months? Btw, about my birthday, it's on December. Still far, but I really don't like the idea of getting older. I guess denial to myself getting old. lol

My son started school today.. Then I am starting in September, and looking forward to it..This is my first year in college and though it has been many years, I think as I had gotten older, I see the need for higher education. My b-day is also in a BER, November to be exact..I don't see my b-day as anything special than another year older..lol

They start school in August? So not all starts in September. And you're going to school too? Nice! I always believe that when it comes to education, it does not matter what age are you in, as long as you crave to learn. Goodluck on your study. Thanks for the response!

Thanks trish, yes most schools in this area start in August. My sons school starts earlier than some others because of the location, it is a very rural area and when we get only an inch or two of snow, they close schools. They only get 5 snow days and most of the time they use up more than 5. I think last year they used 10. So if they had to make up days, they won't be going to school far into June, and if they don't go over the 5, then they get out a little earlier. One year they got out before memorial day..:)

The truth is when you started working and the work pressure starts to crawl on your skin, you begin to feel burned out. Once, you're working, responsibilities and obligations are becoming a big deal unlike when you were just a student thinking only of deadlines for school projects, examinations, and reports. I'm a working mom and honestly, I do miss school. After all, it's better to spend your birthday anwering examination papers than spending it with your "grouchy, impatient boss" doing your report for the next company project that will make or break your career. And getting older is not that bad...you gain wisdom and you learn to appreciate things that you were not able to even had a glimpse when you were younger. You also get to understand life in a positive manner. So don't be afraid to grow old as long as you know that you're getting older being a nice and witty person :)

I miss school too. Life being a student is really much better than going to work. The "burden" on school works is way much better that when you start working. I really don't like the idea of getting older, because, well, people close to me expects more. And all I do right now, are mostly failures. *thumbs down on failures* But still, I agree with you, growing old is nice as long as you get older nice and witty. Thanks for the response!

I love the BER months, it has always been my best time of year. I like cooler weather the beauatiful colors, the smells and the holidays. I always liked to return to school and get back to classes.

Yeah! Once the first ber month starts, time will shoot like an arrow. But I am always excited every December. My husband is also going to celebrate his birthday on that month but it is also the time when i can go home and stay longer in my hometown. And I always look forward to that.

Vacation! yey! Plus Christmas! Ber months are really nice. In a tropical country like Philippines, it gets cold on Ber months. I just wish we have winter, so there will be snow. Thanks for the response!
