Hello! I'm wearing eyeglasses for a year and haven't experience wearing contact lenses. I'm about to have an eye check up again and was thinking what if I'll try now the the other one, but can't imagine myself putting something direct on my eyes. Can you give me some advice about this? Let me know the advantages and disadvantages of the two based on your own experience. Thanks in advance. ^_^

I'm wearing eyegalasses qbout 4 years and i believe that eyegalasses is better than contact lenses because contact lenses require extra care and sometimes there are some situasions that cause you uncomfortability.

I have been wearing eye glasses for over thirty years, and I am very satisfied with it. I do not plan to change to contact lenses. I feel quite comfortable with the eye glasses, and I do not feel the necessity to change to contact lenses, even of they could be more convenient and comfortable. For one thing, I have no experience with contact lenses.

Hello greenline! Me too, I have no experience with contact lenses so I'm thinking why not to try it, even for couple of months only... but still undecided because of the negative stories I've heard. Thanks for sharing!

I've worn glasses since I was about 13 years old. In high school I started wearing contact lenses. I love them, and only wear my glasses when I take the contacts out. I know it sounds weird "putting something on your eye," but after a little practice (a few days) it's really easy. Most soft contacts nowadays are very comfortable. Just be sure to follow the cleaning/disinfecting instructions closely and don't wear them longer than you are supposed to. Also, make sure you wash your hands before touching them. Other than that, it's really easy. I recommend them!

Good day to you kd_fmay, A good choice of topic. With reference to your query, it is both advantageous to use the two. However, in every advantages, there are also a counterpart disadvantages. As to its price, using eyeglasses is cheaper rather than using contact lenses. As to its convenience, it is more convenient to use an eyeglass as compare to contact lenses. On the other hand, despite of their comparison, there are times, I loved to use and wear a contact lens. Hence, there are times, my nose is not too tired carrying the weight of the eyeglass frame. Aside from that, it helps me to build some confidence to myself. Since, I sometimes look old wearing my eyeglass.
