What type of school bag you used now or when you were young?

I was watching through a variety show where the host were all hyper over a school bag because it was the very same design that he had used when he was young. That's when I realized that I don't remember much about how my school bag looks like. I only remember it being a backpack because back then, books were so heavy and a hand carry design won't be good enough to handle it and the trolley-type of school bags was not yet available. What was the school bag that you used? Was it what you had wanted to have? If not, then what kind of school bag did you wanted to have back then/now?

Hi, warvial. I remember carrying a Jansport book bag back in my school days. I always wanted to have a shoulder bag that was made from cotton. I wanted a stylish one with the strap like they will carry that has the flap pocket on it. I just wished that my books were more lighter though in order for me to carry this type of bag.

Definitely~ Lighter books solves all the restriction for us on choosing which type of bags we can/wish to use. As backpack style bag suits my needs to carrying heavy books, I had only that choice. If not, I always thought people looks cool with books in hand and a small bag/sling bag.

I used shoulder bag. I am always a shoulder bag lover since I was in grade 1. My mom maybe was the one who influenced me because I see her wearing shoulder bags and I wanted to be like her. So everytime she buys me a bag i always request her to buy me a shoulder bag.

Hi, I like shoulder bags too. But I can't use them when I was younger because the books that I always have to bring to school were so heavy and a backpack helps to make the weights lighter. Also, I think my mom goes with the trend back then (which was a backpack for the schooling purpose). Nowadays, I can only carry shoulder bags by the side and not diagonally as it will "protrude" my figure, especially that "nice" tummy of mine. LOL.

wheni went to school we just carried our books loose in our arms. i like the idea of a back pack or a messenger bag much better.

Hi, that's what I do when I get older. It seems cool to do that, carrying the books in our arms and also, there were lesser books for me because we have half day classes instead of a full day. Now that I no longer a student, I kinda miss the days of carrying my backpack.

I used and still do use a shoulder bag, they are nice sized and thye are really easy to get into if you need to get something quickly. unlike with a backpack.

Hi, thanks for sharing. Yes, I would have want a shoulder bag but I realized I cannot carry them diagonally because it will cause my tummy to appear especially I always have a lot of heavy stuffs in my bag.
