Moving forward...

I think a lot of can relate to Internet friendships that have gone sour and to some extent I think that a certain number of people come and go in and out of our lives. I also think it can painful when someone you've developed a nice friendship suddenly stops all contact...and perhaps even worse when they offer no explanation. This happened to me about a week ago...five days...but who's counting? I'm left guessing and will probably never figure out exactly why things didn't work out...BUT...I know that five days is long enough to sulk over it and seek answers that are not forth coming.
Honestly, I wish the person would just call me and yell at me or whatever...at least I'd know. As frustrating as it is, I do know that it is time to move on and stop focusing on the drama. There are some good things to focus on...the same day this happened, I received a call from one of my best friends to let me know he is moving near me (he lives an hour away now, but will be moving just 10-15 minutes from us at the end of the month). I contacted my best friend from college this morning just to say "I love you"...and life is so good in almost every other area. The only bummer is that I've been wanting to post a song on my profile for another site...and I keep wanting to post one hoping that the friend who cut me off will hear it. That seems stupid...but I might do it anyways...LOL

Well...I wouldn't say a "deep impact"...I would say that I thought we had a really nice connection, I thought I'd always be her friend...even though we really only knew each other a few short months, and even though it would be very unlikely to ever take place...someone that I would have really enjoyed hanging out with for a day. I think I'm mostly stunned at the sudden loss...and stunned that it hurt more than I would have expected too.
