Why can you not tell from the characteristics of a boy 5 vs 25, if they will be homosexual? What makes things manifest after reaching adult hood?

Some say they have found a gene which is unique in gays. I say no, God would not create a man to be something he does not agree with.

I agree with Sexysilver, God creates other humans and animals with birth defects aore abnormalities, I believe God would allow homesexuality as well. He maybe trying to test society on this issue to if we accept all of our brothers and sisters with open arms.

Why would God not allow for someone to be born gay? Children are born blind. They are born attached to their twin. They are born with malformed limbs. Why? Because NOBODY IS PERFECT!!!!
None of which God wants for any of us to be born with, but we are born this way wheather our conditions are noticable or not. And I'm sure God loves them as much as anyone else.

well its yes and also no. Yes because some people 're born gay.Once they reach the age of puberty it begins to manifest itself. No because some people are not. Its just the option they chose for themselfs or was draged into by a friend.

In a minor amount of cases I believe that it is a chosen lifestyle. If someone drags you in homesexuality, they are not much of a friend!
Why does the traits of a homesexual person only manifest itself once puberty is reached????

Hi, you really need to have a response either one way or the other. Without a better response, I can not rate you.

But Leigh, what would make someone choose to be homesexual? Why be an enigma in society that is still frowned upon if you can control it? Please elaborate.

I think yes they are. You can't force yourself to like one type or another so you must be born that way. Even hetosexuall people like a certain type of person, they didn't choose that, they just do. So I think yes you are born the way you are.

i dont feel that people are born gay... homosexuality is a choice that is made by the person, not something that is instinctive...

Yes, I believe they are. They might not always realize it or are afraid of it. That could be why they sometimes marry. But I don't think it is something they can help or change.

If I'm not mistaken, there is a greater tendency for someone to be gay if someone form his family is gay (uncle or cousins). I think that if being gay is just merely a choice, then why would these gay people subject themselves to public scrutiny as homosexuals if they can control or manage their homosexuality. Of course, no one would want to live a life of being an putcast so the best way to prevent this outcasting is to conform, but even if they try, still as they say, a part of them wouldn't give in. SO I guess this makes homosexuality more of an innate thing than of a choice.

In most cases yes we are born this way but there are a few who change personal choice after a bad relationship or due to peer pressure (you see that in a lot of teens these days I've noticed) but ya, most of us g/l/b are born being g/l/b
