As means of communicating have expanded - from printing to the telephone, radio, television, and the internet - the flow of persuasive messages has dramatically accelerated. This communications revolution has led to information overload, as people are inundated by counless messages from every quater. Many respond to this pressure by absorbing messages more quickly and accepting them without questioning or analyzing them.
The cunning propagandist loves such shortcuts - especially those that shortcircuit rational thought. Propaganda encourages this by agitating the emotions, by exploiting insecurities, by capitalizing on the ambiguity of language, and by bending the rules of logic. As history bears out, such tactics can prove all too effective.
What can you do to protect yourself from dangerous propaganda?

yeah, that is the one that we should do - be selective. but that is no enough....It says that "By clever and persevering use of propaganda even heaven can be represented as hell to the people, and convrsely the most wretched life as paradise." So what else we should do to protect our selves?

I wouldn't believe everything i hear no, because alot of published and infomation on the internet are false rumours and stories which are being used to try and earn others money, but we all know it shouldn't be done... but things like newspapers and magazines sell for true and false information because people are interested in reading about others.

i don't have to do something just to prove them that they are wrong...
it's just a waste of time...
coz eventhough i have a millions of reasons to defend myself...
they will make billions of things to let me down...
by that the issue will never stop...
life is not about defending but living...
be true to yourself...
