How to choose a small car and what's your recommendation?

As you live in China I could not really know the brands over there but to choose a suitable car for yourself first of all you must find aout what ways you want to use it. How many packages you want to bring. You only need it to get to work or want to make bigger trips. Have you have a child how old is he/she (childs seat compatibility). What are the distances you want to travel etc etc etc etc... I found out that the VW group exporting Skoda Superb to China which is however a big car but cheap and really nice. But as you want a samll car I recommend Suzuki or Toyota because they are the leaders of the compact car market and they are producing good and trusting cars. Overall you have to think first what are the things and ways you want to use the car than looking up for design and price.
