Toxic toys recalled in Singapore.

I don't understand why China would continue to produce toys and other products that are harmful, especially to children. Why don't they raise their standards? They would probably sell a lot more if they did. I know people who will not buy anything made in China just because of that. I'm glad they discovered the lead and phthalates before more toys were sold.

There are a lot of issues I've heard about this. The company must be really responsible for this. They must think first what are the effects of the chemicals that they are using. Parents don't want to have buy this kind of toys because they are thinking about the safety of their kids. They must use chemicals that will not harm kids.

these toys must not be played anymore by the children.parents who have known this case should keep their children away from these toys to avoid any bad consequences that could happen to their children.our government should help the public so that we could avoid any of the sickness caused by the harmful materials of the toys.the manufacturers should be accounted if there would be a complaint that will happen.they should be responsible in making toys because their markets are children.

The manufacturer must see the contents that their toys must have because we all know that toys are for children. In here the customer must be responsible also in this issue for them to ensure their health. Many of those goods coming from china contain lead that can affect our body badly. We should inspect it or check whether it contains lead. The government must look into for us to be safe.

How come that these toys have a "CE" mark? How could European Union conformed that it is safe product? I don't know why toys which are below the requirement was distributed in Singapore and other countries. I am certainly sure that if the people in charge did their job well, checking what is need to be check or examining all the operation or process of the manufacturer, there will be no such things like this. The function of the toys are to entertain or to make the children happy, how would this product will provide that if it will cause harm to nervous system and kidneys and other areas to child's development. The problem is business today are more in the aesthetics part of the products to attract customer and earn more profit, they forgot the most important one- safety of their customers. There is no reason such disorientation about the process or the ingredients of that product, it is not base just because you are importer or manufacturer- there is no excuse when the health of the children is in danger.

their are many issues about products containing hazardous chemicals such lead. why is that everytime their is a recall of toys is it because of lead content? i think the problem is within the company. everyone knows that lead is a hazardous chemical, so why those company always use it in their product. their must be a further investigation on this case.

Hi, Thank you for sharing this news. It is a good action to recalled back those toys as it might bring harm to children. I seldom buy those CHINA MADE toys for my son and I always make sure that he did not put his toys in his mouth. I am lucky that my son has grown up and he can understand what I said. Of course, on and off,he will get naughty too,but I just need to pay more attention,then it won't lead to any accident happened. I have read the news from the link that you attached above.

You would think that two years after the massive recall that occurred in the United States regarding toys that were made in China that there wouldn't be the problems with lead in toys that are coming from there. However, as this shows, it is not the case at all. That said, I think that I have always tried to be very vigilant with my children and their toys. I think that it is very dangerous when children put toys in their mouths and that is the main reason that I have never really let my children put their toys in their mouths.

It is a big loss for those company's who recall their products because of toxic. Why they don't check first the product if it is harmful or safety before to put out in the market? When they doing the toy's they must know if the parts of the toy is harmful or safety?

Producers should always be responsible in producing there products. They should think the safety of there customers. Buyer also should be responsible in buying toys or there kids. It is much better to buy toys to the authorized sellers of the products because it is also for your own good and safety.

it is a good thing that those toys were recalled because it can bring harm to children. as a remedy companies should be very vigilant in choosing the contents of their product and test the harmful effects it could bring to the public. it should also be cautious when it comes to the health of it's customers. recall is not a good sign of a socially responsible business.

the government of China is not that strict in implementing rules or law for good quality products that is way there are a lot of fake products that are coming from China.Examples of products that are imitated are clothes and even cellphones like nokia .The importer also should double check if the product that thay distribute are very safe for consumers. The health of the consumers will be affected especially the children. Some children bite there toys so they can be affected.
