we have all heard of the heroism of the queen of jhansi. remember reading how she carried a boy in a sling on her back when sitting on a horse and fighting with the british soldiers during the sepoy mutiny aka the the indian war of independence? ever wondered what happened to that boy after she was killed? well, for 3 years he wandered in the forests of bundelkhand because the villagers refused him entry into their villges fear of the british. later he and his son lived in indore, where his grandchildren live now . they are employed in some subordinate rank in the state government offices.
