is being successful all relitive?

so is it or is the a standard of succession? i am a believe if your proud of what you've done then you are successful at it but im a optimist so what do you think?

There is no standard of succession. Most chase money. I chose happiness. I look back at what I've done without a road map and smile. I've raised three children (not really done" and have been (happily) married 27 years. I am successful.

that sound very successful alrigh your right its down to the individual alright like i was saying well for me its if i can be proud of what ive done right now im loosing weight and working hard at it and im happy about others arent but i am an to me that what matters

I agree with April- if you are happy with what you have done with your time here, can raise a family (if you want) or work for charity (if you want) and can go to bed feeling happy and contented - you are successful. Success is all to easily compared with others, which is wrong. Success is a personal measure that stays with you your whole life. Thanks
