What do you think it takes to be a good mother?

I try to be the best mom I can to my boys. I see some people who I find are really good moms too. I think you have to have patience for starters. Without this there would be no need in having kids. The ability to listen to your kids would be another great one.What would you add to this for a mom to be a great mom.........Have a great day!

I great mom loves and I mean loves unconditionally. A mother that really loves her children and doesn't just say the words makes a great mom

Well what you said is definitely a must to be a good mother and not to be just a friend to your child or children. I have read and seen where a mother would become their child's friend instead of being a mother. Seems that what children actually want more. Hope you get what I mean.

Every mother would want to be a goodmother. Very difficult but must keep trying. I also really wanted to be a good mother for my kids. You are absolutely right if we have to put up with children. Patience is a must- have a mother. With patience all would go well.

Thankfully my track record is spotless as I love my children unconditionally and have myself set a great example whereas nothing could be portrayed as wrong doing on my end.
The best word for your discussion in my own experience was and is consistency.
