I can't add banners to my profile!!!

I've gone through the help and read many of the discussions on here, but I can't seem to add banners to my profile! Can someone PLEASE help? I've followed all the directions that have been given (including pressing the enter key after pasting...I hear that is important). Thanks for the help!

Follow the instructions here: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2232257.aspx If it still doesn't work then try adding a DOT before the first banner. that sometimes is all that is needed (and goodness only knows why).

I tried following those instructions originally, but they didn't work for me. I just tried the dot, and still nothing. I don't know what else to try!

You are trying to paste the HTML code I hope? I see a link in your profile. That is not enough to become a banner.

Thanks, that did it! I was posting th elink to the banner and not the actual HTML. I have no idea what that means, but it worked ;) Thanks a lot!!!

Hello welcome to mylot I tried putting this several times as per standard procedure, but failed, may be some mistake of mine, or the internet , i also tried to put comments on friends profile, was not sucessful, just don't know why? Thanks for sharing. Cheers. Professor. .
