Have you ever been inlove with you bestfriend?

I have never fallen in love with my best friend. I could not even say that i really had a friend that is the best among the rest. I have been through a lot and a lot of people has abandoned me (or that is what i think)... so I'd say i have never really considered anyone my best friend now. I'm more used to just dealing with life's issues alone...

I am always in love with my Girl friends, and you happen to be one of my friends.

I have never been in love with my best friend, but I have fallen for a guy friend of mine. In fact, I am dating him right now. :D He is one of the nicest boys you will ever meet, you can ask anyone at school or any of my friends. He is not mean to anybody, not even people who are mean to him. My friends always accuse me of having a crush on another one of my guy friends, but I don't, so what they say doesn't really matter to me.

I've fallen in love with a friend. The problem is i never get the chance to tell her. That's the hard part, i gotta say.

I have. i kept the feeling inside me for two before i summed up the courage to tell her. It somehow changed our friendship but i didn't regret what i did. There are things that are not meant to be and i guess that's what happened to us. But that happened a long time ago. People often keep telling other people to tell their love ones how they love them but this is easier said than done when the person you're in love with is your best friend. But it's better to tell the truth and be ready with the consequence rather than keep the feeling inside and suffer in silence.

Yes, it happens quite many time but just cannot do anything. It seem to be they can only be my best friend and not further. It hurts a lot but nothing can be done.

Hello lanie, Nope, not really because i never had a real best friend who is a girl. but i guess you really can't tell since you didn't really experience it. but from the stories, videos that i have seen, most best friends turn out having a relationship, and it was good for some but not all. maybe i will find my love but am sure if she si going to be my best friend.

I haven't tried falling in love with a best friend. My best friend is a guy and I really love him as my friend. he is not just a friend but he is more of a brother to me. I can say that there is no possibility or chance for us to be in a romantic relationship as we really treat each other as friends. We are only friends, and nothing more, nothing less that that. I can't see myself falling in love or loving someone like my best friend because I don't want it to happen that someday, our friendship will be ruined by any misunderstanding, love has brought us. Well, falling in love with a best friend is possible but in my case, I don't think it is. For some, it happened and it may happen. It's a pretty good relationship because you know the person very well.

Yups..is to hard to say, that i love him?? my mouth is hard to say..huft..because a lot of diffrent best friends..and girl friend..the situation is very difficult.

Hi Lanekins!. I think I was like you most of my best friend are girl I got 3 men thats really close to me because we grow together but thinking having a love story with them really turn me off. I think its because I know them to well including they dark side.

Hi dear, Nice topic. In fact I had a similar discussion last week also. I like to be a long friendship and finally end up with the marriage. Because a good relation and better understanding would be there. I had a lots of female friends and male friend from school time to present this time. But compared with boys, I had a so many girls as friends. My mom used to say that your nature is like a girl that is why you got only girls as friends. One way it was right. I could have easily make friendship with girls than boys. When I was studying for graduation, (for a special subject, I was the only boy and 14 girls in the class). The three years we lived like a family. As I was a singer I got lots of other friends also. Although, many are very good character and good looking, I could not lead the friendship with any of them. May be I had a dream girl when I was in the school. At the time when I was in college, I don't even know where she was. Still, I had a desire for the unknown girl and which lead me to no relation with any of my friends. I know many were liked me to be the life partner, no one asked me and I didn’t even asked them also. Many are used to come to my home and become very friendly with my family. After so many years, now, I as was a good friend, they keep the relation in a better stronger way. But selecting a life partner from a list of friends is good and only thing is that we should maintain the purity forever. This will make a strong and hard relationship for the future life. I don't think I fell in love with my bestfriend before. I think I only have a crush on her. I also think that I will never fall in love with her. Its not that she doesn't have the qualities I'm looking for a girl. Its because she is my bestfriend. I think it will really become complicated if ever I fall in love with her.

I have been married for a very long time now, but when I was younger this did happen. I never told my friend and he never knew because I did not want to ruin the friendship. I think this happens easily when you hang around someone all of the time, very easy to start having feelings for a good friend. A lot of people consider their husband or wife their best friend, but I think that is afterwards.

i fell in love with my bestfriend before^^ i thought he liked me a bit too bcs we were sharing many things and all but then he just started to act different to me :( ignoring my messages, not caring so much to talk to me, a girl humiliated me a girl that he fell in love with and he didnt defend me. so was a bad time for me. he really hurt me but now im ok^^ he stopped to talk to me so is ok now bcs i see he never deserved my love and care bcs i really did all to see him happy and he just ignored and doubted when that girl he loved said a lie about me he doubted about my word so :( anyway i still like to see when bestfriends fall in love bcs most part of times the stories end in a cute way^^

I have. When I told him about that, he frankly told me that I'm just a sister for him (ouch!). So I didn't talk to him anymore. Later on he realized he missed his bestfriend. Time goes by he has learned to love me. We've been lovers for only 3 months and we broke up because of distance. now, he's married and has two kids while I am currently having a 7-year boyfriend.

why cant you get involved with your friend?if you feel you can spend your lifetime with him,whats the harm?a boyfriend or a girlfriend doesnt come from heaven.they are also human being.the most important thing is whether you like that person or not.i would always prefer my friend to be my life partner as i know him very well and vice versa.and what is a Marriage? its a long term friendship.so its always better to be with a good friend.
