As a Mother, how can give benefit your babies through breastfeeding?

I am a new mother and I was very surprised when I finally I've got my milk on my own breast. I can see how important the breastfeeding is for me and my baby. There are lot of benefits that could give, do you know some of it when you breastfeed your baby.
