Don't you just wish we have an FB kind of notification here in MyLot?

For those of us who doesn't want our emails flooded with new discussion notifications, don't you think it would be a lot easier if MyLot adopts the FB idea of notifying users whenever a comment was made under your discussion? As well as whenever comments were entered under your comment?
I find myself revisiting just about every recent discussion that I started, and refreshing page after page whenever an interesting conversation with another user comes up. It's not really annoying for me, especially since I truly enjoy talking about topics that I start. But I think MyLot users will be very happy indeed if such features were supported. Don't you think? :)

Hi anncherry. I would not mind if Mylot will have that feature because I already turned all of my email notifications here in Mylot so that my email will not get flooded. Anyway, I think you will find this helpful, if you want to know if there is a new response to the discussions you have started, every time you log in here in Mylot, look at the lower right side of the mylot home page. The discussion with the bold title is the most recent discussion with the latest response.

Huhu, however, what if there are several discussions with new responses? Not all are going to be in bold letters... :(

Wow, it works! ;P I don't visit my profile often (I'm always at the homepage) that's why I haven't noticed it. Thanks2! mwah! :))

Have you got these set to 'on'?

I have some of them 'on' and some 'off', because I don't want too many emails... :)

That would work out really well. Especially since half the time I don't get the notifications that I NEED. and then some many of them I don't want.

Yes, that's exactly what I have in mind. Even though I've already deactivated most of my email notifications, there are still many that I mark-to-delete immediately after seeing them.

When I use my computer, I do not
have a problem with notification
sent to the email. But since my
computer is broken, I use the
phone to log on Mylot. When using
the phone I got a problem, because
the notice sent to the email. I am
very difficult. Especially to see if my
response to a discussion, get a
response or not. I agree, if any
notice, which was not sent to the
email. Perhaps like your idea.
