Being friends with his friends..

My boyfriend wanted me to be friends with his friends. It's not that I don't like them at all, it's just that I am kinda loner and couldn't keep up with the things they do and talk about. ( they're all working in the same company and talking about work-related matters most of the time). In short, I feel so out of place.

Hi zalmazan,
I understand the way you feel. You can explain it to your boyfriend about your loner nature. He will understand. But you can say a hi bye to his friends so you also dont hurt his feelings.

LOL just like me when i'm with friends that are working in a different place as i am but i dont care. It doesnt mean that being friends with them needs you to participate what they are discussing. Just be nice and friendly to them in your own way. i dont think your boyfriends wants you to go out with them often just be civil and relax

In fact it is a good sign that your boy friend wants you to be friends with his friends. When man can introduce his girl friend to others, it means that he really loves this girl. If you really don't know what to talk about with his friends, then at least try to be a good listener and keep a smile when they are talking. Sometimes it takes some time to make friends.
