It is thought by many people that after marriage for quite a long period of time, passion in a couple will disappear mostly. Then the most reason why we still stick to the relationship is such as sense of responsibility, our children or even maybe we don't want to miss our property as the cost.Do you think it is sad? And do you really believe that love will maintain its greenness forever for a couple?

Hi,there
Well,I do admire the phenomenon u refer here, the passion and greeness between new couple are doomed to fade away as time goes by,love usually transfer to responsibilities of the entire family for the transition has passed. However,I dont think the phenomenon could be taken as the evidence as the love are stepping into tomb.....
Otherwise, couples are willing to cherish the families belong to them for love, that's the result of marriage, not the reason why they have to keep the marriage relationship as burden or moral fetters.

Certainly I don't consider marriage as tomb,I am still looking forward to it. I agree with you, love is a kind of passion, but marriage means a couple has to help and grow with each other to build and keep a harmonious family. It can offer us sense of safety and it is pretty important in our life.

It depends. Most of the time, the love will go on deeper as the couple gets older and older but in some couples, they usually treat each other like siblings.

Yeah,I think familial affection is stabler than passion.Although our love will convert into another style, but it is still good to have this change. Meanwhiel, thank you for your response.

I don't think so, they said that love will not really last for a long time. Some says that companionship will keep the couple for staying in the relationship. It's sad of course but probably it's true that love will fade because nothing is constant everything is changing.

I still want to believe that a couple can make love last their lifetime. Marriage is not all about feeling but commitment. This should be their goal, to go towards that direction to make it last. Also by making God the center of their relationship make me want to believe that, yes, they can. The success of every relationship does not only depend upon one party concerned, but it should always work two ways.Good communication plays an important role in marriage, fidelity does too!=)
