Suicide for her love..

Lots of couple breaks due to fights, family issue,unfaithful or having no more feeling for the partner...But have you ever though of suicide if you had to lose your love one? i have a fiend who's gf doesnt want him anymore and he is so depressed that now he is thinking about suicide and they were suppose to get married..he has change so much since the problem and i guess he will really commit suicide , i and some friends have talked to him and try make him understand that this is not a solution but he doesnt want to hear anything.... If there is someone out there who had such problems can he share how he came to handle the situation.
