Hi, pingkayb. Welcome to myLot! Many people find that texting is more better for them. It is very romantic when two people can send each other short and quick little messages. It sparks up the moment for them. It is like they are flirting with each other. I think that it is very sweet that two people can text each other. It is becoming more and more romantic nowadays.

I still love to receive "love letters". It's more romantic than a text message. I think we should keep on telling our younger ones how love letters is more romantic than a text, let's make them wonder. I remember when I was a kid my aunt kept on telling me her experienced about "harana" (its an old style of courting a lady through singing outside their house w/guitar)I wish then that someone may do that to me.... actually until now, I'm still wishing. ^_^ Good day pingkayb!!

Hello Pinkayb. No, texting is not as romantic as a hand written love letter. Texting is just convenient and quick. If you have something special to say then it's better to write it yourself and send it in the post, you will get a much better reaction if you do that.
