Can you live a day without cellphone?

I agree that cellphones would let us stay connected with those who matters most to us like our family and friends. But I myself can live a day without my cellphone. When my cellphone broke last month, I was able to get through not having a cellphone for a week.

Just like you, as I started to use cell phones and got hooked on it, I just can't live without it anymore. It's already everyone's' necessity I guess. We use it not only to communicate with our friends ,etc but most importantly how useful it is for emergency purposes. One text or call away and people receive our messages in seconds, if not minutes. Cellphones just makes our life easier and means of communication from country to country have never been this better if not because of mobile phones. :)

Dear friend, Yes, no doubt when I was in school this cell phone was not so popular and was there without it. As now people are dependent on it and it has become something unavoidable. But still in some remote areas of the place where I live in India cell phone is not much used.

I can live a day without a cellphone. I just need my pc and my internet connection. I do not text or call that much. I communicate through facebook and yahoo messenger.

Hi Katherine, at one time I would have said yes i can live without my cell phone and infact didn't take it everywhere with me at all - but just recently that has changed and I am using it a lot more, especially for texting but I also use it to play games on ...as you say a text can make someone feel special and know that you are thinking about them . Sometimes I don't like being totally accesible all the time and it can be an intrusion but it is also a very useful tool for keeping in touch with important people and for any emergencies that may occur.

I do fine living w/o my cell phone. I rarely use my cell phone I use it when I go out as needed. I'm primarily a stay-at-home mom so I don't go anywhere too often or too far away. But I have one just in case I have a question or emergency... no way am I glued to it.

ya i can live without cell phone......because i am not using it too much...i just use it when i needs it....i dont sms anyone....i just make phone calls when i want to......actually i am thinking to leave mobile phone....but it is almost impossible.....not impossible.....but i will need it in emergency thats why i am keeping it..... happy mylotting

yea mobile have become common these days ans every one is using them and we have been so addicted to it like we can't live without mobiles.
