The Pakistan 2010 Flood disaster affected more than 20 million people, that's more than the effect Tsunami 2004, Kashmiri 2005 and Haiti 2010 Earthquakes had in total. I dont know why the western media isn't covering as extensively as it should be and Aid is very few, i have heard The EU provided 1.5 million, that's is what Paris Hilton or the president of Pakistan has for breakfast. So bad we live in a wicked world.
I can't help right now because there isn't the medium but my prayers will be with those families especially the Kids since in weeks time, there may be cholera outbreaks.

I guess that my response would be that we are living in a world where people fly planes into buildings and slaughter innocent men, women and children in the name of religion and those who ostensibly harbor and protect terrorists can't understand why those who have been victimized don't open up their hearts and wallets.

Hey Lauren, don't get me started here,I know September11 was the most catastrophic disaster in the 21 century but we are made to believe Some so-called Muslim terrorists did that, did you see the conspiracy theories on youtube, they are damning verdict of how the world is run, it even goes as far as to suggest USA government used as the Pearl Of Harbour of 2nd world war.
Al-qaeda ain't angels and they are wrong what they are doing but if you go back how they started, USA government was involved. If you knowledgeable enough, i hope you know about all of this.
Another thing we are merely spectators in this game i.e the people. Government use people's resources to get what they want which is always money. if you take out a government, there will be another one who will screw th people.it was kingdoms,Socialism, communism then now democracy, they are all the same. Why don't we have everyone to use his way to live. No government and all that crap. But we are told the world aint gonna work like that,by who? you guessed it,the leaders!

I have seen and read about the conspiracy theories but do not in any way believe that the U.S. government was involved in slamming planes into the twin towers, nor do I believe that the Jewish people were involved. Was the government involved in starting Al qaeda? That's one that I've never heard. At the end of the day, I agree with you about governments. As people, I think that we all more alike than we are different. I think that we all want a good and happy life and we want our children to have more than we had. If we focused more on our commonalities than on our differences, this would be a far more pleasant world. I still stand by my comment about why people aren't opening up their wallets to help Pakistan. If someone attacked you and perhaps even killed some of your family memebers, and another person that you knew protected that person by allowing them to stay in his or her house, what would your reaction be if they came to you for help? Would you give them money or any sort of assistance? I think not. Why should a country have any different philosophy?

Yes, lots of events like that, moreover people on this earth are doing many harm, like nuclear tests, polluting air, water, killing animals so on. May be earth is bit angry. HOpe we treat this earth more well. I am sure the earth is so soft to give it back with bonus too. Prayes will difinetly give a good heart and peace of mind hope if we combine both prayer with treating earth well the result will be much higher.
